How to treat maternal uterine prolapse

How to treat maternal uterine prolapse

I don’t know if any of our friends who have given birth have ever experienced postpartum uterine prolapse. This problem has a huge impact on us. It may affect our own pregnancy problems and will have a great impact on our own physiological functions. Many female friends will also suffer from severe abdominal pain due to uterine prolapse. It is very necessary to understand the treatment methods for maternal uterine prolapse.

1. Patients with uterine prolapse should adopt a combination of Chinese and Western medicine, and a comprehensive measure of treatment, nutrition, and rest. The treatment methods can be divided into: using pessaries, taking Chinese medicine, acupuncture, fumigation and other non-surgical treatments and surgical repair. Since surgery has a certain impact on vaginal delivery again, surgery is only suitable for severe cases and women who no longer have children.

Treatment method: Pessary therapy. Patients with severe uterine prolapse and excessive vaginal relaxation should not use pessary therapy.

Second, surgical treatment. Commonly used procedures include vaginal anterior and posterior wall repair, perineal repair and partial cervical resection. The operation is simple and the effect is good. It is suitable for most patients with uterine prolapse. The second is vaginal hysterectomy, vaginal anterior and posterior wall repair and perineal repair.

Note:

1. Patients with uterine prolapse should avoid heavy physical labor, lifting, squatting, and jumping.

2 Patients with cough, asthma, and constipation should actively treat these accompanying symptoms to avoid increasing intra-abdominal pressure during coughing, asthma, and defecation, which may cause the uterus to prolapse downward and affect the efficacy.

3. Patients who have undergone surgery should take a proper rest after surgery and gradually resume normal work. In the early stage, they should still avoid actions that may increase abdominal pressure, such as carrying, squatting, pushing, and jumping. They should continue to exercise the pelvic floor muscles mentioned above to enhance the tension of the pelvic floor tissues. Later, they should gradually increase the intensity of work and go to the hospital for regular checkups and listen to the doctor's advice to ensure that the therapeutic effect is maintained.

3. Surgical treatment

1. Shorten the loose main ligament to improve the support of the uterus.

2. Correct abnormal uterine morphology. If the cervix has become elongated and enlarged, part of the cervix must be removed to restore the normal length of the cervix.

.3, shorten the pubic bladder and cervical fascia and strengthen the support of the anterior vaginal wall.

4. Suture the pubococcygeus muscle fissure and re-establish a well-functioning perineum.

Knowing the treatment methods for maternal uterine prolapse in advance will allow us to take timely and effective treatment measures when these problems occur ourselves. This can help us get rid of the negative impact of uterine prolapse on ourselves in the shortest time possible, and the effect is very significant.
