Ovarian cysts are dangerous

Ovarian cysts are dangerous

Ovarian cysts are so familiar to female friends that almost every female friend knows about this disease. However, after learning about the situation, these female friends still do not take ovarian cysts seriously, let alone take the initiative to seek treatment. Over time, this causes great trauma to their bodies. So, are ovarian cysts dangerous?

1. Lesions

The most notable feature of ovarian cysts is anovulation. Since there is no ovulation, the ovaries only secrete estrogen and androgen, but not progesterone. Estrogen stimulates the proliferation of the endometrium. Progesterone causes a secretory response in the endometrium. If the endometrium is exposed to the effects of estrogen for a long time without the effects of progesterone, endometrial hyperplasia and endometrial cancer will occur.

2. Cause other diseases

Ovarian cysts are also a high-risk factor for diabetes and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. In recent years, it has been found that many patients with ovarian cysts have hyperinsulinemia. Patients with hyperinsulinemia are prone to diabetes and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.

3. Cause infertility

When a woman suffers from ovarian cysts, it will first affect the storage space of her eggs, which will make the eggs densely distributed, which is not conducive to egg activity. In addition, because the cysts need the body's nutrients to grow, they will digest the nutrients that originally belong to the eggs. In this way, the poor nutrition supply to the eggs will cause the eggs to develop poorly. Without healthy eggs, women can easily suffer from infertility, which will reduce their qualifications to be mothers.

4. Cause miscarriage

Cysts can cause miscarriage in women. The nutrients in the ovaries cannot all be supplied to the development of the eggs, but most of them are supplied to the cysts, which will make the eggs unhealthy. Even if it does not affect women's pregnancy, it will make women more likely to have miscarriages than normal women during pregnancy, which is more harmful to women's bodies.

Although ovarian cysts are very common in women, it does not mean that the disease is not serious, nor does it mean that it can be cured without treatment. Ovarian cysts are not scary. What is scary is that some patients do not seek treatment, which results in great harm to the body. It will be too late to regret then. I hope that patients with ovarian cysts can wake up.
