The inability to fertilize normally is indeed a sad thing for female friends. Nowadays, due to the influence of various factors, infertility is often seen. It can be said that there are still many types of infertility, which are divided according to different causes. For example, cervical infertility cannot be ignored and must be detected and treated correctly in time. So what are the symptoms of cervical infertility? The cervix and its endocervical glands are important target tissues for ovarian hormones. Their anatomical morphology and cervical mucus secretion change periodically with the rise and fall of ovarian hormones and are closely related to conception function. When menstruation just ends, the estrogen level in the body is low and the amount of mucus secreted by the cervix is small. As estrogen levels continue to rise, the amount of mucus secretion gradually increases and becomes thinner and transparent, like egg white. During the ovulation period, this mucus has strong ductility and can be pulled into thin threads. If the mucus is smeared, fern-like crystals can be seen after drying. After ovulation, under the influence of progesterone, the amount of mucus secretion gradually decreases, the texture becomes viscous and turbid, with poor ductility and easy to break. During smear examination, the crystals gradually become blurred and are finally replaced by ellipsoids arranged in rows. When the ovaries are dysfunctional, the quantity and quality of cervical mucus secretion will change. For example, reduced secretion, poor quality, increased viscosity, etc. will affect sperm activity, storage, survival and capacitation, leading to infertility. During vaginal examination, observe the position, shape, size of the external opening of the cervix, the amount and nature of secretions, and the presence or absence of cervical diseases and growths, and pay attention to the presence of cervical lifting pain and parauterine tenderness. At the same time, bacteriological examination of cervical mucus is performed. If necessary, do a scraping or colposcopy. Hysterosalpingography can not only detect uterine and fallopian tube lesions, but endocervical canalography is also extremely helpful in studying infertility. When oil is used and the contrast instrument does not affect the development of the cervical canal, the length and shape of the cervical canal can be well displayed. Endocervical growths, congenital malformations, stenosis, adhesions and uterine buckling can all be clearly diagnosed. Through the above introduction, everyone is clear about the symptoms of cervical infertility. The problem of infertility does need to be solved in a timely manner. Don’t delay it again and again or find it difficult to talk about it. This is related to the happiness of the family and the responsibility of reproducing the next generation. As long as it can be treated correctly as early as possible, you can return to health sooner. |
