Why is women's urine yellow?

Generally speaking, human urine should be colorless, but some people's urine is yellow. This phenomenon is a manifestation of unhealthiness. Many times it is due to malnutrition. It is best to eat nutritious food and not junk food. There are actually many reasons for yellow urine. There are always some inexplicable diseases in the human body. Some people with poor digestion and poor kidneys also have yellow urine.

Normal fresh urine is light yellow in color because it contains a yellow pigment called urochrome. However, the color of urine can also be dark or light depending on the amount of water you drink. If you drink more water and urinate more, the proportion of urochrome in the urine will be smaller, and the color will be lighter; if you drink less water, the proportion of urochrome in the urine will be larger, and the color will appear yellow.

If urine is left for some time, its color will become darker. This is because some of the urochrome in the urine has been oxidized into urochrome. The waste produced by the human body and the urine pigments excreted every day are generally relatively constant, so the color of urine will not change much. The normal daily urine volume of a person is 1000-2000 ml, among which men have 1500-2000 ml and women have 1000-1500 ml. The urine is light yellow in color, transparent, and has no precipitation or turbidity.

Freshly excreted urine has a special grassy aroma, but after being left for a long time, it develops an ammonia smell due to decomposition. Yellow urine refers to urine that is yellow or dark yellow. Patients with common fever or vomiting and diarrhea symptoms will have their urine concentrated and reduced because water is excreted with sweat or feces, but the urine pigment does not change, so the color of the urine appears very yellow. Another type of urine that is yellow like strong tea is not due to the above reasons, but is caused by a lesion in the liver or scrotum. It turns out that there are usually two ways for bile to be discharged: one from the urine and the other from the intestines. When the liver or gallbladder is diseased, the bile's path to the intestines is cut off and it can only be excreted in the urine. The urine also becomes dark yellow due to the increased bile content. In the early stages of hepatitis, before jaundice appears, we often see that the color of urine is like strong tea, which is often a sign of hepatitis.
