Treatment of uterine prolapse and vaginal relaxation

Treatment of uterine prolapse and vaginal relaxation

Uterine prolapse and vaginal relaxation are inevitable problems for many of our female friends. This problem will greatly reduce the quality of our sexual life as a couple, especially vaginal relaxation, which is a situation that many male friends are particularly unwilling to accept. Perhaps many of us do not have a clear understanding of the treatment methods for uterine prolapse and vaginal relaxation. Let us learn about the treatment methods for uterine prolapse and vaginal relaxation.

2. Surgical treatment

(I) Indications

It is generally used for patients with severe second-degree, third-degree and/or moderate vaginal wall prolapse, or patients who do not respond to non-surgical treatment and whose symptoms are severe.

(II) Contraindications

Heart failure, renal failure, liver cirrhosis or liver damage, active pulmonary tuberculosis, pulmonary failure, diabetes, mental disorder, severe anemia, chronic cough and hemorrhagic diseases, malignant tumors, systemic infectious diseases, etc. In the case of urinary tract inflammation and severe cervical erosion, surgery should be performed after the condition is under control.

(III) Surgical procedure selection

1. Anterior and posterior vaginal wall repair: suitable for patients without obvious cervical elongation and pathological changes in the cervix and uterine body.

2. Manchester operation (partial vaginal cervical resection and anterior and posterior vaginal wall repair): suitable for patients with elongated cervix.

3. Total vaginal hysterectomy and anterior and posterior vaginal wall repair: Suitable for elderly patients with uterine prolapse, uterine prolapse accompanied by atypical cervical hyperplasia, functional uterine bleeding, small uterine fibroids or uterine prolapse accompanied by severe keratinization of the vaginal wall that cannot be retracted.

4. Vaginal longitudinal (sulfonated) septumplasty: Suitable for postmenopausal patients with smooth cervix, no sexual desire, and moderate or severe bulging of the anterior and posterior vaginal walls.

The principles of TCM treatment for uterine prolapse are to invigorate Qi and lift it, warm Yang and benefit the kidney, and replenish Qi and consolidate prolapse. The treatment method should follow the principle of "tonifying the weak, lifting the sunken, and consolidating the deficient". Clinically, based on syndrome differentiation, the main treatments are to tonify the middle and replenish qi, raise yang and lift the sunken, and tonify the kidney and consolidate the deficient. That is, for those with qi deficiency, focus on replenishing qi and lifting; for those with kidney deficiency, focus on tonifying the kidney and consolidating; for those with deficiency accompanied by dampness and heat, first clear the dampness and heat to treat the symptoms, and then use lifting, consolidating and astringing to treat the root cause. The following are some commonly used treatments.

The above content introduces us to the treatment methods for uterine prolapse and vaginal relaxation. I believe that everyone has a clearer understanding of the above content. We can appropriately choose some vaginal tightening techniques, which can effectively help us achieve the effect of vaginal tightening and effectively enhance the relationship between us as a couple.
