What causes cervical erosion?

Many women often experience this phenomenon in their daily lives. They often have some abnormal leucorrhea, but many people do not pay attention to it. Leucorrhea is an important manifestation of female vaginal hygiene. If there are some abnormal leucorrhea, it means that the female gynecological disease has reached a certain degree. Cervical erosion is also a common disease. What causes cervical erosion?

Problems with sex life. Unclean sexual life, having many sexual partners, excessive sexual intensity, having sex during menstruation, etc. can all cause cervical erosion, and these reasons cannot be ignored.

Multiple abortions. Repeated artificial abortions will cause varying degrees of damage to the cervix, providing bacteria with an opportunity to invade, leading to cervicitis. Because of the stimulation of inflammation, local secretions will increase, and if the cervix is immersed in secretions for a long time, it will cause cervical erosion.

Menstrual periods last too long. Women whose menstrual cycles are too short or last too long are more likely to develop cervical erosion. Therefore, women can reduce the occurrence of cervical erosion by extending or shortening their menstrual period.

Over-cleaning. Some women are too particular about hygiene, but lack some necessary common sense. They often use highly concentrated disinfectants to flush the vagina, but the result is counterproductive. Because doing so is not conducive to the growth of normal vaginal flora, the effect of inhibiting bacteria will also be reduced, thus causing varying degrees of damage to the cervical epithelium, or even erosion.

In daily life, women should pay attention to sexual hygiene, avoid extramarital sex, and refrain from having sex during menstruation. Take appropriate contraceptive measures and avoid abortion as much as possible to reduce the chance of human-induced trauma and bacterial infection.

Patients with cervical erosion must pay attention to regulating their bodies during the treatment process, eat more vegetables and fruits to supplement vitamin C, which can improve the body's immunity and facilitate disease recovery. They should also pay attention to vaginal cleanliness and hygiene, especially when having sex with their sexual partners, to avoid cross infection.
