Why does menstruation vary from time to time?

Why does menstruation vary from time to time?

I believe that many female friends nowadays will encounter this situation: the menstrual period is more in one month and less in another month. It feels very strange that the amount of menstruation is sometimes more and sometimes less, and I can't get through the menstrual period smoothly. So when you see this, you will have questions: why is this happening? Then we have to answer the question of why menstruation varies from time to time.

Having periods twice a month is considered irregular menstruation, which is a common gynecological disease. It manifests as abnormal menstrual cycle or bleeding volume, or abdominal pain and systemic symptoms before and during menstruation. The cause may be organic changes or functional disorders. Many systemic diseases such as blood diseases, hypertension, liver diseases, endocrine diseases, miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, hydatidiform mole, reproductive tract infection, and tumors (such as ovarian tumors, uterine fibroids, etc.) can cause menstrual disorders.

1. Abnormal emotions: Long-term mental depression, sulking, or severe mental stimulation and psychological trauma can all lead to menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea, or amenorrhea. This is because menstruation is caused by the stimulation of the endometrium by hormones secreted by the ovaries, and the hormones secreted by the ovaries are controlled by the release of hormones from the pituitary gland and hypothalamus. Therefore, any abnormality in the function of the ovaries, pituitary gland, or hypothalamus will affect menstruation.

2. Excessive dieting: Expert studies have shown that girls need body fat to account for at least 17% of their body weight to have their first menstruation, and body fat must reach at least 22% of their body weight to maintain a normal menstrual cycle.

3. Irregular living habits. According to research, when women are exposed to cold during menstruation, the blood vessels in the pelvis will contract excessively, which can cause oligomenorrhea or even amenorrhea. Therefore, women should have a regular daily life, avoid excessive fatigue, and especially keep away from cold and damp during menstruation.

So, after reading this, I believe everyone should have a certain understanding of the issue of how much menstruation there is, so there is no need to panic. The fundamental solution to this problem is to pay more attention to your own diet and keep warm and avoid fatigue. There is no need to sacrifice your own health.
