Leucorrhea is a white liquid secreted from the vagina of women, but many women are troubled by abnormal leucorrhea. The formation of leucorrhea is closely related to the estrogen in the female body. When the estrogen secretion in the female body reaches its peak, the amount of leucorrhea will increase, and the shape should be transparent, but some women's leucorrhea looks like tofu dregs. What causes this? If the leucorrhea is like tofu dregs or small pieces of curd, it is caused by fungal infection and is often accompanied by vulvar itching; you may have fungal vaginitis. Mycotic vaginitis (monilialormycoticvaginitis) is caused by fungal infection. Its incidence rate is higher than that of Trichomonas vaginitis. In medicine, fungal infection is called Candida infection, so fungal vaginitis is also called Candidal vaginitis. It is more common in young girls, pregnant women, diabetic patients, and postmenopausal patients who have been treated with large doses of estrogen. The most common symptoms of candidal vaginitis are vulvar itching and a significant increase in leucorrhea. This disease is caused by Candida albicans, a fungus that exists on the human body surface and in body cavities, such as the mouth, rectum, and vagina. Under normal circumstances, even if this fungus exists in the vagina, it will not cause disease. It will only cause disease when it multiplies in large numbers. When the disease occurs, symptoms include itching of the vulva, burning sensation in the vagina, and leucorrhea that resembles tofu dregs. The patient's itching symptoms are sometimes mild, sometimes severe, and sometimes come and go. The vulvar itching caused by candidal vaginitis is generally more obvious than that caused by Trichomonas vaginitis. Those with severe itching will be restless and unable to sleep or eat. Women may also have vaginal burning pain, especially when urinating. When the inflammation is severe, frequent urination, painful urination, and painful sexual intercourse may also occur. Different states of leucorrhea indicate that there are definitely some problems with the female body, but the smell of leucorrhea can also indicate some problems. For example, if the leucorrhea has a fishy smell, it is mainly due to vaginitis. If the leucorrhea has a foul smell, it is often caused by some malignant tumors, or more serious endometritis and other diseases. Therefore, women must pay attention to it at this time. |
