What are the causes of itchy watery leucorrhea?

For women, abnormal leucorrhea also indicates that something is wrong with the body. Normal leucorrhea is transparent and odorless. If this situation is violated, it means that there is a problem with the woman's body. At this time, women must pay attention to it and understand the causes of watery leucorrhea itching, which will be of great help to our treatment.

Leucorrhea is a small amount of mucous substance secreted from the female vagina. It is like white and transparent egg white, odorless and non-irritating. Some people regard leucorrhea as an obscene thing that should not be seen in the light of day. Some married women regard normal leucorrhea as a disease and feel anxious and confused. In fact, leucorrhea, like menstruation, is a normal physiological manifestation of women.

The amount of leucorrhea secretion is closely related to the menstrual cycle, sexual thoughts and sexual life. The secretion of leucorrhea in menopausal women is sparse and thin, while that in women of childbearing age and pregnant women increases. Women in their honeymoon and during periods of frequent sexual intercourse also naturally experience increased secretion of leucorrhea. The above-mentioned normal secretion and increased leucorrhea are all manifestations of women's healthy physiology and there is no need to worry too much. If the leucorrhea is secreted excessively and there are changes in the odor, color, and properties, and is accompanied by some symptoms, it is abnormal leucorrhea, which is called "leucorrhea disease" in traditional Chinese medicine.

The following five situations are common:

Colorless paste-like leucorrhea

The leucorrhea is sticky like paste, with a large amount, and often stains the underwear. Except for lower back pain, the patient has no other symptoms. It is more common in chronic metritis. In addition, women who use more estrogen preparations may also experience this kind of leucorrhea.

Okara-like leucorrhea

The amount of leucorrhea is large and floc-like like bean dregs, and is often accompanied by vaginal itching. This type of leucorrhea is mostly caused by vaginal fungal infection or diabetes.

Foamy leucorrhea

The leucorrhea is foamy and abundant, accompanied by itching of the vulva and vagina. If a vaginal leucorrhea smear test is done, active Trichomonas may be detected. This is caused by infection with Trichomonas due to taking a tub bath, pool bath or sitz bath in unclean bath water. This disease is often caused by itching and scratching of the vaginal opening, which leads to purulent infection and the leucorrhea turns into yellow pus and foam.

Purulent leucorrhea

If the leucorrhea is yellow or green and is often accompanied by symptoms such as general weakness and low fever, it is likely that you have acute vaginitis or cervicitis. Purulence indicates bacterial infection and you should seek medical attention immediately.

Watery leucorrhea

Leucorrhea that is clear like water, often soaks the underwear, and has a foul odor is often a sign of fallopian tube tumors.

If women find the above-mentioned changes in leucorrhea, they should not take it lightly and should go to the hospital for gynecological examination and treatment in time.

If a woman's leucorrhea is smelly, yellow, and foamy, then this indicates that she has a gynecological disease. However, women should not be afraid or panic because gynecological diseases are not very difficult to treat. If we can detect and treat the disease in the early stages, then the treatment results will be significantly improved.
