What are the symptoms of low fetal position during pregnancy?

Displacement during pregnancy is a relatively dangerous symptom, especially when the fetus is in a too low position. This will be harmful to the health of the fetus and the health of the pregnant woman. Therefore, when the fetus is in a low position during pregnancy, you must pay attention to it to avoid premature birth. Here are the symptoms of low fetal position during pregnancy. You can fully understand it.

symptom

1. Abnormal fetal position is confirmed by abdominal, vaginal and B-ultrasound examination after 28 weeks of pregnancy.

2. Diagnosis of breech presentation: Abdominal examination shows that the uterus is longitudinally oval, and a round and hard fetal head that feels like a floating ball when pressed can be felt at the bottom of the uterus. A soft, wide, irregular fetal buttocks can be felt above the pubic symphysis. The fetal heartbeat is most clearly heard to the left or right side above the navel. B-ultrasound examination showed that the fetal head was below the rib margin. Above the pubic symphysis is the arm or the foot.

3. Diagnosis of transverse position: The uterus is transverse oval, the fetal head can be touched on one side of the mother's abdomen, and there is a relatively empty space above the pubic symphysis. The fetal heart sounds are clearest on both sides of the umbilicus. B-ultrasound examination shows that the fetal head is on one side of the mother's abdomen.

Prognosis and prevention

1. Transverse position should be performed by elective cesarean section. For breech delivery, cesarean section is usually performed for primiparas; for multiparas with a small fetus and a large enough pelvis, vaginal delivery can be considered.

2. If the transverse position is not treated in time, it may lead to umbilical cord prolapse, intrauterine fetal death, and even the risk of uterine rupture.

3. In breech presentation, there is a possibility of umbilical cord prolapse after water rupture, and there is a risk of the head coming out backward during delivery, which may cause intrauterine asphyxia or even death of the fetus.

4. Carry out prenatal examinations, diagnose malposition of the fetus in advance, and provide timely treatment. If the fetus has not turned into a head position, choose the delivery method first and be hospitalized in advance. It can prevent malposition of the fetus during delivery and avoid the serious consequences caused by malposition of the fetus.

First of all, it is quite dangerous to have a low fetal position during pregnancy. So when these symptoms appear, you should first pay attention to them and understand what the symptoms are. Then, take preventive measures, go to the hospital in time, and let the doctor take preventive measures as soon as possible to improve yourself as soon as possible, so as to avoid serious consequences.
