What are the symptoms of mild vaginitis?

Every woman is particularly worried about developing gynecological diseases, but she cannot go to the hospital for check-ups every day. Moreover, some gynecological diseases will gradually become more serious over time, such as vaginitis. This is mainly caused by substandard hygiene conditions, but what symptoms will appear if it is a mild case of vaginitis?

1. Bacterial vaginitis: The amount of leucorrhea increases, and it is grayish white, thin, and foamy. The vaginal mucosa is congested, with scattered bleeding spots, itchy and burning sensation in the vulva, and a foul odor in the vulva. It can easily induce genital infections, pelvic inflammatory disease, perinephritis, dyspareunia, etc.

2. Fungal vaginitis: increased leucorrhea, mostly white or yellow-green. Most of the leucorrhea is in the form of tofu dregs and curd, and some patients may have small fragments in their leucorrhea. In addition, after being infected with candidal vaginitis, the patient will experience severe itching of the vulva and discomfort in the vagina. Increased vaginal secretions may also cause women to experience symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating.

3. Trichomonas vaginitis: Trichomonas vaginitis is a common gynecological disease in women. Its incidence rate is second only to candidal vaginitis. The main symptoms include vaginal discharge, which is yellow-white in color, occasionally with yellow-green pus, often with foam and fishy odor. When the lesion is severe, it will be mixed with blood; followed by low back pain, frequent urination, and painful urination. Women may also experience pain during sexual intercourse.

4. Nonspecific vaginitis: When women suffer from nonspecific vaginitis, the inflammation will cause long-term irritation to the vulva and vagina, causing women to have a feeling of falling and burning, a large amount of vaginal epithelium shedding, and obvious tenderness. When women are seriously ill, they may experience general fatigue.

Vaginitis is a common disease among women and it is also relatively easy to treat. So if you are diagnosed with this disease, you don’t have to worry too much. If it is a mild vaginitis, there is no need to treat it with medication. Just keep the local area clean and hygienic.
