How to treat thick pubic hair?

In the eyes of many people, they only talk about their private lives with people they are familiar with, not to mention their private parts, which are almost a secret that no one will tell. However, there are also many people who don’t say it, but they know very well what is going on with them. Some women have longer and thicker pubic hair, and many people think that it has nothing to do with it and does not require treatment. Let us introduce the causes and treatment methods below.

There are two reasons for the increase of pubic hair in women: physiological and pathological. 15% to 20% of normal women have physiological increase in pubic hair, and even have a few long, black, coarse hairs around their nipples. Except for hirsutism, there are no other male manifestations. The menstrual cycle, period, menstrual blood volume and reproductive function are all normal. This is because the hair follicles in the vulva are particularly sensitive to testosterone, which is why there is more pubic hair.

Pathological increase in pubic hair is caused by excess testosterone production. This extra testosterone can come from the ovaries, for example, in conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome, where the ovaries lack the ability to further process sex hormone precursors into estrogen, or in the presence of a tumor in the ovaries that can produce testosterone. These diseases are often accompanied by infrequent menstruation or even amenorrhea. Adrenal cortical hyperplasia and adrenal tumors can also cause an increase in pubic hair and changes in menstruation, as well as obesity in the face, chest, abdomen, neck, and back and emaciation in the limbs.

As for women's vulva hairiness, as long as their menstruation is normal and their body shape is normal, it is generally physiological and there is no need to worry. If accompanied by infrequent menstruation, even amenorrhea, and changes in body shape, it may be pathological.

It is better not to cut the pubic hair. Pubic hair can help us absorb the sweat we excrete. It is not without effect on the body.

Through the above we realize that although there are many and dense hairs in the head, if the body does not have any discomfort, no treatment is required, so there is no need to worry too much, but it is best not to cut or shave it off, otherwise, it will cause more and more hairs in the head and become denser.
