What are the symptoms of condyloma acuminatum and pseudocondyloma acuminatum?

Many people find it scary when talking about condyloma a disease, and think that if they have condyloma a disease, there is no cure. But in life, not all warts are condyloma acuminatum, some may just be pseudo-warts. So how do we distinguish between pseudo-condyloma acuminatum and regular condyloma acuminatum? Is pseudo-condyloma amenable to cure?

Pseudo-condylomata often occur in adolescent women, mostly married women aged 20 to 35. The main symptom of this disease is a small rash, which grows on the inner side of the labia minora and the vestibule of the vagina in women. A few cases develop inside the vagina and at the vaginal opening. In men, they often grow on the coronal sulcus of the glans penis. These small rashes are symmetrical, dense, 1 to 2 mm in size, white or light red, and some have villous protrusions, but their size does not change. Even with drug treatment, the rash does not subside. This rash does not fuse and has no roots. It will not grow and expand like the rash of genital warts, and spread to the vulva, around the anus, and urethra. It will not grow into nipple-like or cauliflower-like growths like the rash of genital warts.

According to foreign data, 10% of healthy men and 15% of healthy women suffer from pseudo-condyloma acuminatum to varying degrees. Someone investigated some cases of genital warts in some STD clinics and found that about 42% of them were pseudo-warts.

Since pseudo-condyloma acuminatum can be seen as chronic inflammation and hyperplasia of tissues under a microscope, it does not cause any functional disorders and is not contagious. Therefore, people suffering from this disease do not need to have any psychological burden and can work and live as usual. They do not need to take medication and only need to keep their genitals clean and dry.

The above content is about the symptoms of pseudo-condyloma acuminatum. In fact, no matter what kind of gynecological disease it is. After discovery, be sure to remember to go to the hospital for diagnosis in time, and receive regular treatment under the guidance of a doctor. I also hope that women with genital warts will not be anxious and will receive further treatment after checking to confirm whether it is real.
