How long does it take to detect an ectopic pregnancy?

At present, many expectant mothers are troubled by ectopic pregnancies, which seriously endanger the health of women. In severe cases, women may die. Therefore, the editor recommends that women should pay attention to it in normal times. Women during pregnancy need to go to the hospital for regular prenatal check-ups and pay more attention to observation. Let the editor explain to you in detail how to check for ectopic pregnancy.

The examination of ectopic pregnancy first needs to further clarify the cause, and the possibility of ectopic pregnancy cannot be ruled out. From the perspective of time, a blood hCG test can be done. If the blood hCG is significantly higher than the normal value, ectopic pregnancy can be considered. Secondly, an ultrasound can be done again to clarify the location of the embryonic sac. Symptoms of ectopic pregnancy include:

stomach ache:

Pain in the lower abdomen, a feeling of defecation, sometimes severe pain, accompanied by cold sweat. When rupture occurs, the patient suddenly feels tearing pain in one side of the lower abdomen, often accompanied by nausea and vomiting.

Menopause:

Before tubal pregnancy miscarriage or rupture, symptoms and signs are not obvious. In addition to short-term amenorrhea and pregnancy symptoms, sometimes there is bloating and pain in one side of the lower abdomen. During examination, the fallopian tubes may be normal or enlarged.

Vaginal bleeding:

Bleeding is usually minor.

Syncope and shock:

Due to acute intra-abdominal bleeding, blood volume reduction and severe abdominal pain may occur. Mild cases often cause syncope, while severe cases may experience shock.

It should be noted that after an ectopic pregnancy ruptures, the patient will feel severe abdominal pain and massive internal bleeding, and will experience shock symptoms such as pale complexion, rapid pulse, and decreased blood pressure. Under normal circumstances, an ectopic pregnancy ruptures around the 6th to 8th week after pregnancy. An ectopic pregnancy rupture can penetrate the fallopian tube wall or miscarry from the fallopian tube fimbria to the abdominal cavity, threatening the life of the pregnant woman.

I wonder if you have some understanding after listening to my brief introduction to some issues about ectopic pregnancy! Therefore, I suggest that women should pay more attention to observation in normal times, and if they are diagnosed with ectopic pregnancy in the hospital, they need timely treatment. I wish you all a speedy recovery.
