Breast augmentation surgery before and after comparison and precautions

Breast augmentation surgery before and after comparison and precautions

Breast hypoplasia is the most common phenomenon nowadays. Many adult women have very small breasts. Therefore, if the economic conditions permit, many people will think of using breast augmentation methods to enlarge their breasts. Although the effect is very good, after all, it is operating on the body so it will cause some harm to the human body.

Preoperative preparation

1. Avoid the menstrual period.

2. Comprehensive physical examination and testing, no serious medical diseases and local infections.

3. One month before breast augmentation surgery, you should stop taking birth control pills, estrogen, aspirin and other drugs.

4. Communicate with the doctor, understand the required effects, choose the prosthesis, etc.

5. Choose a regular plastic surgery hospital and plastic surgeon.

Postoperative Care

1. After breast augmentation surgery, there will usually be pain and swelling in the breasts. The degree of pain and swelling varies from person to person, depending on the method and nature of the surgery and the individual's physical condition. The pain usually lasts for about two to three days and can be controlled by taking medication on time as instructed by the doctor. The swelling and bruising will subside in about one to two weeks.

2. After resting for two to three days, daily activities can generally be resumed two to three days after the operation. You can return to work as usual five to seven days after the operation. Avoid raising your arms and lifting heavy objects in the first week after surgery, and avoid steam baths and swimming within two weeks. Vigorous exercise should not be performed until two weeks after surgery.

3. There will be a simple dressing on the wound after the operation, and sometimes a bandage will be used to fix the position of the breast. After two to three days, see your doctor for a follow-up check-up and you can bathe normally. Arrange a follow-up visit in one week, one month and six months. The stitches on the wound will dissolve automatically within ten days.

4. In the first month after the operation, you should wear a well-fitting soft bra or a positioning chest belt according to the doctor's instructions, or not wear a bra to allow the breast tissue to take shape naturally. The breasts will initially feel swollen and stiff, but after one to two months, the texture and shape of the breasts will become more natural. When you psychologically integrate it into your body and no longer notice the existence of the prosthesis, you will be completely healed.

5. Do not wear a bra with wires within six months after the operation to prevent breast deformation and capsular contracture (capsular fiber hardening).

6. Avoid sexual intercourse within two weeks after the operation to avoid injuring the breast.

7. If you are planning to get pregnant, it is best to wait six months after the surgery until the shape of your breasts stabilizes. Breast augmentation surgery generally does not affect the ability to breastfeed.

Breasts are one of the most attractive parts of women. It is understandable that everyone wants to make them beautiful, but compared to charm, health is the most important. Therefore, female friends are advised not to use breast augmentation surgery. If not properly cared for, it may cause harm to the body. Breast enlargement is not only possible through surgery.
