Development timeline for adolescent girls

The development problems of women during puberty cannot be ignored, of course, because the development status of women at this time will have a certain impact on their future healthy growth. Therefore, every adolescent girl needs to understand some symptoms of development at different stages, so that they can know whether they are normal and healthy. The following is the development timeline of adolescent women.

Girls' sexual development includes the morphological development, functional development and development of secondary sexual characteristics of reproductive organs, which is generally divided into six stages, also known as the six "milestones" of sexual development.

☆9-10 years old: Sexual development starts, and the first part to be affected is the pelvis, which begins to widen gradually and quietly. Next comes the breasts, with nipples on one or both sides slowly rising like buds.

☆10-11 years old: The breasts gradually swell like hillocks. If you touch carefully, you can feel a slightly hard lump. At the same time, the areola area expands, indicating that breast development has officially begun.

☆11-12 years old: A small amount of short and fine hair begins to sprout on the pubic area, but it is not real pubic hair yet.

☆12-13 years old: The breasts grow significantly faster under the stimulation of estrogen secreted by the ovaries. Mild pain is often felt. Don't be nervous. It is a physiological phenomenon in the development process. The pain will disappear naturally when the mammary glands mature.

☆13-14 years old: Most girls have their first menstrual period, which is called menarche. Some may start as early as 11-12 years old, while others may start as late as 18-19 years old. Menarche is one of the important signs of puberty, but the ovarian function is still unstable at the time of menarche, so the menstrual cycle is irregular. Later, you will feel that the irregularity gradually becomes regular. Ovulation usually begins when the cycle becomes normal in the second year after menarche, and ovulation may occur in every cycle. At the same time, armpit hair grows on both sides of the armpits.

Adolescent girls will undergo many changes in their bodies, so we must pay special attention to these common sense and maintain a good attitude. Because with the right attitude, healthy development will bring more positive results. Don't panic if you find changes in your body.
