Causes of hydrosalpinx on one side

When women feel uncomfortable, they need to have a physical examination in time, so that they can have some understanding of their own physical problems. Many women choose to ignore it when they feel uncomfortable. This practice can easily aggravate the condition and make the treatment of the disease more complicated. Hydrosalpinx on one side is a common problem for women. What is the cause of hydrosalpinx on one side of a woman?

Causes of hydrosalpinx on one side:

Hydrosalpinx is a common cause of female infertility, accounting for more than 1/3 of female infertility patients. Unilateral hydrosalpinx greatly reduces the probability of pregnancy. However, in the treatment of hydrosalpinx, traditional therapies have had the disadvantages of unsatisfactory efficacy, low success rate of dredging, and high re-accumulation of fluid, which results in patients with hydrosalpinx being unable to be cured for a long time.

There are roughly two ways of infection by pathogens that cause acute fallopian tube infection and inflammation. The first is because some pathogens spread along the mucosa and endocervix, reaching the endometrium and fallopian tube lining. Another way is that the pathogens travel through the uterine and ovarian veins and lymphatic vessels. The most common causes of hydrosalpinx are:

Pyosalpingitis turns into hydrosalpingitis. The pus cells and necrotic tissue in the lumen are decomposed and cleared by phagocytes, and the pus gradually turns into clear watery fluid. Some are not caused by fallopian tube inflammation, but are secondary to fallopian tube sterilization surgery. Hydrosalpinx is more common in women who have unclean sexual lives. When chronic salpingitis occurs, the fallopian tubes may become adhered and closed due to inflammation, and the leaked fluid and exudate in the fallopian tube lumen gradually accumulate.

If the amount of effusion is relatively small, conservative treatment can be used, using the same method as chronic salpingo-oophoritis. Sometimes the fallopian tube adheres to the ovary and communicates with the follicular cyst in the ovary, thus forming a fallopian tube ovarian cyst. If the amount of fluid accumulation is large, or a large fallopian tube and ovarian cyst has formed, conservative treatment is generally not effective and surgical treatment should be considered.

After understanding the cause of unilateral hydrosalpinx, the treatment of unilateral hydrosalpinx needs to be carried out according to the cause of the woman. The common method of treating unilateral hydrosalpinx is surgery. This treatment method is simple. However, for severe unilateral hydrosalpinx, women must also follow the doctor's advice for treatment. This is also something to note.
