Why do women develop spots after giving birth?

After giving birth, women's bodies will be damaged to varying degrees. Some women will have spots after giving birth. It will be very painful to have spots because it will be ugly and feel that the image of women is gone. So do you know why you have spots? How much do you know about this situation? Let's take a look together!

1. Women who have given birth will secrete an enzyme in their bodies that can catalyze the production of milk and other related accessories. After a period of time, some people's bodies will produce protein substances that can digest this enzyme, while others will produce it very slowly. It depends on the person. Let's take a look at it together. Chloasma was called "face dust", "liver spots", "dark spots" in ancient times, and is commonly known as "butterfly spots". It is characterized by symmetrical brown pigmentation spots on the face and is more common in women before and after pregnancy and childbirth. It is generally believed that chloasma is related to estrogen and autonomic nervous system dysfunction, as well as sun exposure, long-term use of cosmetics or long-term use of certain medications (such as contraceptives), certain chronic diseases such as irregular menstruation, pelvic inflammatory disease, liver disease, hyperthyroidism, chronic alcoholism, tuberculosis, tumors, etc. According to research conducted by researchers in Japan, the United States and other countries, approximately 18% to 20% of women who take oral contraceptives develop chloasma on their faces, while pregnant women often begin to develop chloasma in the 2nd to 5th month of pregnancy. This is because the level of progesterone in the body increases after taking birth control pills or becoming pregnant. Estrogen stimulates melanocytes to secrete melanosomes, while progesterone promotes the transfer and diffusion of melanosomes. According to the above physiological situation, once you stop taking contraceptives or after giving birth, the levels of estrogen and progesterone in the body will slowly decrease to normal, and chloasma will gradually lighten until it disappears, so mothers should not feel fear or panic because of this. As for non-physiological chloasma, it is common in patients with certain chronic diseases (such as menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea, adnexitis, infertility, liver disease, tuberculosis, chronic alcoholism, hyperthyroidism and visceral tumors, etc.), which may be related to endocrine factors such as ovaries, pituitary glands, and thyroid glands. Long-term use of some drugs such as hibernation spirit, phenytoin sodium, etc. can also induce the formation of chloasma.

Second, because the estrogen level in the body increases during pregnancy, but suddenly drops after giving birth, it is easy to have an imbalance between estrogen and androgen in the body for a period of time, that is, endocrine disorders, and those symptoms (pigmentation, spots, hair loss, etc.) are the manifestations of endocrine disorders on the skin.

We know the reasons why women have spots after giving birth, so we can prescribe the right medicine, which can achieve twice the result with half the effort. This is very normal. We must find the cause first before we can prescribe the right medicine. This is a very critical point. So here I hope that friends who have this situation will understand the situation more, and I hope you will be more beautiful!
