What factors affect fertility rate?

What factors affect fertility rate?

You may gradually discover that the fertility rate in our lives is gradually decreasing. In addition to our country's family planning policy, some diseases and external environmental factors have caused some women to lose their ability to reproduce. So let's take a look at what factors affect the fertility rate?

Ageing has a great impact on female fertility. According to female physiological laws, fertility is strongest between the ages of 20 and 24, and slowly declines after the age of 30. It declines rapidly after the age of 35, being half of what it was at the age of 25, and half of what it was at the age of 40. About 87% of women lose their ability to conceive after the age of 44. As women age, their overall health declines.

Obesity can disrupt women's endocrine system, hinder ovulation, and cause various health problems, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, etc. These diseases may also cause infertility in women and may lead to complications during pregnancy. Doctors have found that the number of miscarriages is directly proportional to the chance of infertility. Multiple artificial abortions can easily lead to pelvic adnexitis, which can cause blockage of the fallopian tubes and infertility. Moreover, repeated artificial abortions will make the endometrium very thin, making it prone to developmental abnormalities and spontaneous abortion in the event of future pregnancy.

When suffering from vaginitis, the acidity and alkalinity in the vagina changes and the white blood cell count increases, both of which will hinder the survival of sperm; the changes in the local internal environment caused by cervical inflammation are not conducive to the passage of sperm through the cervical canal, which can also lead to infertility; pelvic infection can also easily lead to infertility if it is not treated promptly or thoroughly, especially tuberculosis or gonococcal infection.

So from the above description, we can see that women must strengthen their awareness of caring for themselves, because some ovarian diseases and cancers may cause young women to lose their ability to reproduce, which will cause our fertility rate to become lower and lower.
