Causes and prevention of pelvic fluid accumulation

Causes and prevention of pelvic fluid accumulation

Female friends all know that they should pay more attention to taking good care of their bodies on a daily basis to avoid various gynecological inflammations. Fluid accumulation in the pelvic cavity is one of the gynecological diseases. There are many reasons for this disease. If you are not careful on a daily basis, you are likely to be infected with this disease. Below are some preventive measures and an introduction to pelvic fluid accumulation.

In addition to normal pelvic effusion in women due to their physiological characteristics, pathological pelvic effusion is mostly caused by pelvic inflammatory disease or endometriosis. The causes of pelvic inflammatory disease are often related to the patient's bad hygiene habits, such as having sexual intercourse during menstruation, within one month after childbirth, taking a bath within one month after gynecological surgery, etc. Medical-induced infection caused by improper disinfection during artificial abortion and induced labor can also cause pelvic effusion. It is best to perform a posterior fornix puncture examination to identify the nature of the fluid caused by pelvic inflammation. If there are chronic infection lesions, it may be an inflammation of the gynecological system such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes, or it may be caused by tuberculosis or tumors. Pelvic inflammatory disease should be treated early, otherwise it will affect fertility. To determine the pathogen of pelvic inflammatory disease, special laboratory tests should be performed and then symptomatic medication should be used. If tuberculosis is suspected, anti-tuberculosis treatment should be given. Draining the effusion is a means of investigation or symptomatic treatment and should not be done frequently. Because simply draining the accumulated fluid will not only fail to cure pelvic effusion, but will also increase the amount of fluid accumulated.

A small amount of fluid in the pelvis - Classification of pelvic effusion:

1. Pathological pelvic effusion. Clinically, pelvic effusion in most women is caused by inflammation. There is inflammatory exudate in the pelvis. If it is not treated, it can grow slowly.

2. Physiological pelvic effusion. When there is exudate or leaked fluid, it will drain into the pelvic cavity, thus forming pelvic effusion. Some normal women will have a small amount of blood accumulated in the pelvic cavity during menstruation or ovulation, forming pelvic effusion. Such pelvic effusion is sometimes a good thing, which proves that the woman's fallopian tubes are unobstructed and there is exudation in the fallopian tubes, thus forming pelvic effusion.

There is a small amount of fluid in the pelvic cavity - prevention of pelvic effusion:

1. Don’t be afraid of pelvic effusion, just stay calm

2. Exercise, strengthen your physical fitness, increase nutrition, pay attention to the combination of work and rest, and improve the body's resistance.

3. Pay attention to hygiene during menstruation, pregnancy, delivery and postpartum period to prevent infection.

4. Women should prevent the abuse of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs. Antibiotics, whether taken orally or injected, will inhibit the lactobacilli in the vagina, disrupt the natural ecological balance of the vagina, and change the vaginal microenvironment. Pathogenic bacteria and pathogens may multiply, eventually leading to an attack of local candidal vaginitis, which in turn secretes inflammatory fluid and causes pelvic effusion.

Female friends can understand the causes of fluid accumulation in the pelvic cavity, and take various preventive measures in daily life, improve their own immunity, and pay attention to daily hygiene and cleaning. Of course, you should also consume more nutritious food and pay attention to your daily diet. Only by taking preventive measures can you stay away from various gynecological diseases.
