We know that the uterus plays a very important role for female friends. Once there is a problem with the uterus of female friends, it will not only affect the health of the body but also affect fertility. Therefore, we recommend that female friends should pay attention to the health of the uterus in normal times. Once there is a problem with the uterus, they should actively seek treatment. Adenomyosis is a common uterine disease. Let us introduce the latest treatment methods for adenomyosis. The mechanism of vascular interventional treatment for adenomyosis is to embolize the blood supply arteries of the uterus, causing the lesions in the uterus to necrotize, absorb, and atrophy, thereby achieving the treatment goal. This results in a series of reactions: (1) The ectopic endometrium and proliferative connective tissue necrosis, non-inflammatory edema, and the reduction of prostaglandins that cause dysmenorrhea caused by uterine contraction, so that the symptoms of dysmenorrhea are relieved or disappear. (2) The uterus becomes softer, and the volume and area of the uterine cavity decrease, effectively reducing the amount of menstruation. (3) Necrosis of the lesion causes the uterus to contract, reducing its volume and closing the tiny channels that cause the lesion, thereby reducing the recurrence rate. (4) Local estrogen levels and the number of estrogen receptors decrease. Since most adenomyosis lesions are located in the uterine body, adenomyosis in the uterine cervix is extremely rare. Therefore, the target blood vessels of adenomyosis are the ascending branches of the bilateral uterine arteries. In order to improve the therapeutic effect and completely embolize the small blood vessels in and around the adenomyosis lesions, embolic agents with small diameters can be used. However, it should be noted that once the tiny embolic agents enter the endometrium, ovarian vascular network, and uterine artery ureteral branches, they will cause uterine amenorrhea, ovarian amenorrhea, and urinary system damage. With the improvement of catheterization technology and the update of embolic agents, the accuracy of embolization orientation has increased, and most of the above injuries can be avoided. The main efficacy evaluation criteria for embolization therapy are the improvement of clinical symptoms such as dysmenorrhea and menstrual volume. Studies have shown that vascular interventional treatment for adenomyosis has a medium- and long-term clinical efficacy of 82.39%, a clinical ineffectiveness of 17.61%, and a recurrence rate of 5.03%. Dysmenorrhea is relieved after embolization, with an onset time of (1.18 ± 0.81) months and a maintenance time of (33.68 ± 18.81) months. With the development of interventional technology, vascular embolization is increasingly being used in the treatment of gynecological and obstetric diseases. Its relative comfort, safety and uterus-preserving advantages have opened up a new area for the treatment of adenomyosis. In the above article, we introduced the important role of the uterus for female friends. Once a female friend has a problem with the uterus, it will cause great trouble. Adenomyosis is a type of uterine disease. The above article introduces in detail the latest treatment methods for adenomyosis. |
