All female friends will go through a menopausal transition period. During this period, many female friends will notice abnormalities in their bodies. Because when a woman has her menstrual period, it can stimulate the ovaries and have an impact on all aspects of the female body. Some women will have less or no menstrual flow during menopause, and their faces will also age. So it is necessary to take good care of your body during this period. There are many symptoms of menopausal syndrome in women, but most women don’t know that they have such symptoms and think they have some disease. If the following symptoms occur, female friends should pay attention. During menopause, women will feel irritable and easily lose control of their emotions, and there will be many other changes. 1. Menstrual changes Changes in the menstrual cycle are the earliest clinical symptoms of perimenopause and are divided into three types: (1) The menstrual cycle becomes longer, the menstrual volume decreases, and eventually menopause occurs. (2) Irregular menstrual cycles, prolonged menstrual periods, increased menstrual flow, and even heavy or continuous bleeding, which then gradually decreases and stops. (3) Sudden cessation of menstruation is less common. Because the ovaries do not ovulate, estrogen levels fluctuate, making endometrial cancer more likely to occur. For patients with abnormal bleeding, a diagnostic curettage should be performed to rule out malignant transformation. 2. Vasomotor symptoms The clinical manifestations are hot flashes and sweating, which are manifestations of unstable vasomotor function and the most prominent characteristic symptoms of perimenopausal syndrome. Hot flashes start in the chest, move to the head and neck, and then spread throughout the body. In a few women, hot flashes are only confined to the head, neck, and breasts. Patients experience burning sensation and redness of the skin in the area of the flush, followed by explosive sweating. The duration varies from a few seconds to several minutes, and the frequency of attacks ranges from several times to 30 to 50 times a day. It is easily triggered at night or under stress. This vascular instability can last for 1 year, sometimes up to 5 years or longer. 3. Urogenital tract symptoms Vulvar and vaginal atrophy; bladder and urethral symptoms; uterine prolapse and vaginal wall bulging may occur. 4. Cardiovascular symptoms (1) Some patients experience pseudo-angina, sometimes accompanied by palpitations and chest tightness. (2) A small number of patients experience mild hypertension, characterized by elevated systolic blood pressure and low diastolic blood pressure, with paroxysmal attacks. When blood pressure rises, patients may experience dizziness, headache, chest tightness, and palpitations. 5. Osteoporosis Starting from perimenopause, women's bone absorption rate exceeds bone formation, which leads to bone loss and osteoporosis. Menopausal syndrome will come sooner or later, but there is no need to worry too much. Taking preventive measures in all aspects of life, arranging your life and diet scientifically, and supplementing with adequate calcium and trace elements can effectively prevent osteoporosis. Actively exercising and enhancing the body's immunity can cope with menopause. |
