Nipple Correctors

Nipple Correctors

A normal woman's nipples grow out and become very erect after being rubbed. However, if the nipples are not well developed or are not squeezed after birth, it is easy to cause retracted nipples. Moreover, the occurrence of this situation will not only affect the beauty of the breasts, but it will also have a very serious impact if you want to breastfeed your baby after giving birth in the future.

There are usually two treatment methods for inverted nipples in clinical practice. One is surgical treatment, which is used for women with very severe inverted nipples. If the condition is not very serious, a nipple corrector is usually used for correction, which can have very good results. So, how to use the nipple corrector?

Congenital inverted nipples are divided into 3 types according to their severity. Different types use different correction methods. How to use the nipple correction device?

1. Type I nipple is partially inverted: The nipple neck exists and the inverted nipple can be squeezed out by hand.

2. Type II nipples are completely sunken into the areola and can be squeezed out by hand. The nipple has no neck.

3. Type III is severely inverted, with the nipple completely buried under the areola and unable to be squeezed out by hand.

Generally speaking, if it is type 1 or 2, it can still be treated conservatively, that is, through the negative pressure suction correction of the negative pressure corrector, but it must be persisted. If it is ineffective for more than 3 months, surgical treatment is generally required. As for correctors, there are many in drug stores, you can just buy one, they don't make much difference. If it is type III, surgical correction is required, and conservative treatment is generally less effective.

Studies have shown that the main cause of nipple retraction is tight clothing, and congenital heredity is also a factor that cannot be ignored. For patients with inverted nipples, they should frequently pull their nipples in daily life, which can make the breasts protrude, increase the supporting strength of the surrounding skin, and play a "shaping" role. When self-traction is not effective, learn to use a nipple retractor for treatment.

Now that you know how to use a nipple corrector, if your condition does not improve after using it, it is recommended that you undergo surgery to correct it. In order to avoid retracted nipples, women must take care to protect their breasts during the breast development stage and avoid excessive squeezing to avoid retracted nipples.
