Does Metronidazole Lotion need to be mixed with water?

In daily life, no matter what medicines we use, their usage and dosage are very important. Ornidazole and chlorhexidine lotion are no exception. Although it is an external medicine, if it is not used in the correct way, it will not only harm the human body, but also may not achieve the therapeutic effect. So, does the ornidazole-chlorhexidine wash need to be added with water? Let’s take a look below.

Does the ornidazole-chlorhexidine wash need to be added with water? The answer is undoubtedly yes, it can be used by adding water. Actual operation method:

1. When we need intravaginal bath treatment, pour 50ml of medicine into a clean large basin, add 1000ml of warm water at about 42℃ and stir evenly. When the temperature is suitable, the temperature should not be felt hot on the arm, then you can bathe for 15-20 minutes. One to two times a day can effectively treat vulvitis, vaginitis, Bartholin's gland cysts and other gynecological diseases.

2. You can remove the vaginal irrigator attached with ornidazole-chlorhexidine wash, unscrew the outer cover, pour 10ml of the solution into the irrigator, add 42℃ warm water to 50ml, tighten the stopper, shake it left and right to make the solution evenly distributed. The patient can lie on his back or squat with legs apart, gently insert the hose of the irrigator into the vagina about 6-7cm, and then slowly squeeze the irrigator to allow the solution to slowly enter the female vagina for vaginal cleaning.

When using the above method, you should first clean the private parts with warm water, and then use chlorhexidine nitrate lotion. There is no need to rinse with cold water after use. In fact, whether or not to add water to the chlorhexidine wash solution should be selected according to one's own symptoms. It is best to use it under the advice of a doctor. Do not buy and use it on your own to avoid damage to the vaginal mucosa due to inaccurate use and dosage.
