Acne, a very common skin problem among teenagers, often appears quietly with the arrival of puberty. Although acne is just a skin problem, it often causes great trouble to teenagers' psychology and life. Today, let's talk about this "little troublemaker" in adolescence - acne.

1. What is acne?

Acne, also known as "pimples", is like an uninvited naughty ghost, running around on our face, forehead, chin and even back, turning into a small red bump and a small pustule with a white head. In fact, acne is a chronic inflammatory skin disease of the sebaceous glands of the hair follicles. In simple terms, it is a problem with some small factories (sebaceous glands) in the skin, producing too much "oil", which blocks the pores, and then "pimples" appear.

2. Why do adolescent children often develop acne?

1. Adolescent hormone carnival When puberty arrives, the testosterone in the body is like a party. Once this guy is excited, he will command the sebaceous glands to secrete oil vigorously. Too much oil will block the pores and acne will take the opportunity to appear.

2. Bad living habits cause trouble Staying up late to play games, eating spicy snacks, being lazy all day... These bad living habits are good helpers of acne! Staying up late is like sending an invitation to acne, asking them to come to the party. Eating too much spicy and greasy food is like adding fuel to the fire of the sebaceous glands, making them produce oil desperately. If you don't exercise, the "garbage" in the body cannot be discharged, and acne will naturally come to join in the fun.

3. Being stressed out turns you into an acne-monger. The stress from studying, the depression after talking back to your parents, the little annoyances about the opposite sex... these stresses are like little demons, messing with your body. When your body is anxious, it will secrete some hormones, and then acne will appear!

4. Inadequate skin cleansing or improper use of skin care products If you don’t wash your face properly or use skin care products that are not suitable for you, it is equivalent to opening a VIP channel for acne. The pores are blocked by dirt, and acne will happily set up camp on your face!

3. How to prevent acne?

1. Develop good living habits. Go to bed early and get up early. Don't stay up late at night playing with your phone. Eat less spicy and oily food. Eat more fresh vegetables and fruits to keep your skin moisturized. Exercise more, run and jump to get rid of stress and acne.

2. Relax When you are stressed, don't be alone, listen to some music, watch some funny movies, or have some fun with your friends. Without stress, acne will have no motivation to cause trouble!

3. Clean your skin properly. Don't be careless when washing your face. Use mild cleansing products to gently clean your face. But don't wash your face several times a day. Your skin will protest if you wash too often. Choosing skin care products is like choosing good friends. They have to suit you. Don't apply those greasy cosmetics randomly, otherwise more acne will grow!

4. Pay attention to personal hygiene. Keep your hair clean and don't let the oil and dust on your hair get on your face. Change your bed sheets and pillowcases frequently to avoid providing a comfortable nest for germs.

4. What should I do if I have acne?

1. Don’t squeeze pimples. Don’t squeeze them if you feel like squeezing them. Otherwise, it may aggravate the inflammation and leave ugly pimple marks or scars. Then, you will really become a “clown face”!

2. See a doctor actively and take medication as prescribed by the doctor. If the acne is very serious, don't worry, go see a dermatologist immediately. The doctor will prescribe you a targeted prescription to make the acne surrender. Follow the doctor's advice and take the medication regularly and quantitatively. Cooperate with the doctor's treatment, and the acne will soon run away with its tail between its legs!

My young friends, although acne is a bit annoying, as long as we understand it and defeat it, we can definitely keep our youth free of acne and spend this brilliant time beautifully!
