I bleed when I bump into something. Can this disease be prevented and treated?

When you are like a "paper-mache mud ball", you will play hide-and-seek with the slightest touch. You have to be prepared in advance even for a tooth extraction! Hemophilia is not a joke. The slightest mistake can bring a lifelong "blood and tears history" to the patient.

So, if you feel pain when you touch it or leak when you cut it, should you pay attention? Hemophilia sounds like a bloodthirsty superhero, but in fact it is not as interesting as you think, but a "bleeding demon". This disease is a professional, and if you are not careful, it will cause trouble to your body, mess up your joints, and even cause internal bleeding. This is the "bloody experience" brought by hemophilia.

What is hemophilia?

Hemophilia, as the name suggests, is a disease that causes bleeding. It hurts when touched and leaks when cut. Hemophilia is a "bleeding maniac". Don't underestimate it. If it is not treated, it will mess up your joints and even cause internal bleeding. That would be a painful "winner in life".

If untreated, it can cause chronic and disabling joint disease, while bleeding into organs and the brain can lead to more severe disability and death.

Hemophilia is like a naughty elf, it has a unique set of "moves":

1. A person who is always worried about his health since childhood. The disease has been present since childhood.

2. Love moves back and forth in joints and muscles. Sometimes, even the gastrointestinal tract, urinary system and even the central nervous system can have an "unexpected surprise".

3. The blood dragon fight after surgery is no joke. Hemophilia slows down the movement of blood, so you must be prepared for prolonged bleeding after surgery.

4. Joint movement has become a luxury. If joint bleeding is not treated in time, it may become "strange".

Is hemophilia only passed on to males and not females?

Hemophilia is passed on to males but not females, which sounds like a VIP channel exclusively for males. But in fact, hemophilia does not distinguish between males and females, and it does not discriminate on the basis of gender. Although most victims are males, females may also be targeted by this "blood and tears burden", but they are relatively less common. Hemophilia mainly includes three types: hemophilia A, hemophilia B and hemophilia C. Among them, hemophilia A (Hernophilia A) is also known as coagulation factor VIII deficiency or antihemophilia factor A (Antihemophilia facorA) deficiency. True hemophilia and antihemophilic globulin deficiency are traditional hemophilia;

Hemophilia B is also known as coagulation factor IX deficiency or plasma thromboplastin (PIC) deficiency;

Hemophilia C is also known as coagulation factor XI deficiency and plasma prothromboplastin (PTA) deficiency.

Among congenital bleeding disorders, hemophilia is the most common, especially hemophilia A, which accounts for about 85% , followed by hemophilia B, and the least common is hemophilia C.

For hemophilia A and B, because the genes causing the disease are located on the X chromosome, the number of males affected is much higher than that of females. Males are usually affected, and many females carry the related genes but do not develop the disease. However, females are only less likely to develop the disease than males, but they also have the possibility of developing the disease.

As for hemophilia C, the gene causing the disease is located on the autosome, and the chances of developing the disease are similar in both sexes. In short, everyone should remember that hemophilia is not gender-specific. Although most cases occur in men, women can also be affected, but the chances are lower than those of men.

So, can hemophilia be prevented and treated?

Well, to be honest, there is currently no "ultimate cure" for hemophilia. One can only rely on regular supplementation of coagulation factors to "forcibly" maintain a normal rhythm of life.

As a hereditary disease caused by gene defects, the main preventive measure for hemophilia is to conduct eugenics and good parenting through prenatal gene screening to achieve fundamental prevention, including pre-marital gene testing for hemophilia to determine whether the offspring are at risk of hemophilia.

So, if you also encounter this "bleeding maniac", isn't it time to think of a solution? At present, there is no "ultimate method" for hemophilia, and you can only rely on regular supplementation of coagulation factors to maintain a normal rhythm of life. However, don't be discouraged, there are some tips in daily life, such as maintaining oral hygiene, controlling weight, and doing exercises that are suitable for you. Of course, safety first, don't play around!

Hemophilia has some "specialties": for example, bleeding is not only common, but blood dragon fight after surgery is a big problem. If your joints are not obedient, don't expect to play basketball. After all, stability is the kingly way, and you have to control your blood vessels first. Finally, hemophilia patients also need to have a normal life. Although they are not "invulnerable", they can also do some exercises that suit them. However, remember to ask the doctor first. After all, safety comes first!
