Precautions before nebulization inhalation treatment

1. Do not eat for 1 hour before nebulization inhalation treatment, clean oral secretions and food residues to prevent vomiting caused by airflow stimulation during nebulization. For infants and children, in order to maintain calm breathing, it is advisable to treat in a quiet or sleeping state, and do not eat within the first 30 minutes.

2. Wash your face and do not apply oily facial creams to prevent the drug from being absorbed by the skin.

Precautions during nebulization inhalation treatment

1. When children are inhaling nebulizer treatment, it is best for the baby to sit in a relaxed upright position and just breathe calmly without any special cooperation.

2. During the nebulizer inhalation treatment, pay attention to the patient's condition and the aerosol situation to prevent suffocation. Do not spray the aerosol into the eyes. If any adverse reactions are found, the nebulizer inhalation treatment should be stopped immediately.

3. Each nebulization time should not exceed 20 minutes to avoid irritating the respiratory tract.

How to care after nebulization treatment?

1. After the nebulizer inhalation treatment, rinse your mouth with clean water or drink water in time to relieve throat discomfort and reduce the residue of medicine in the mouth. For babies who cannot rinse their mouths, you can wipe the mouth with a cotton swab made of boiled water.

2. Those who inhale with a mask should wash their face in time to remove the medicine attached to the face.

3. After nebulization inhalation, you can gently pat your back to facilitate the discharge of phlegm.
