Less than seven months after the release of iOS and iPadOS 14, an estimated 90% of compatible iPhones and iPads now have iOS installed, according to data collected by Mixpanel's iOS 14 Adoption Tracker. In February, Apple said that 86% of all devices launched in the past four years have iOS 14 installed. Now, more than a month later, the installed base continues to grow by around 4%. According to Mixpanel data, iOS 14 adoption rates hover around 90%, though the exact numbers will fluctuate. iOS 14 was released in September last year. As a significant upgrade to the iOS system, it brings new widgets to the home screen, app library, and other system-wide changes such as the new Siri and incoming call UI. According to Apple, as of December, a few months after its release, 72% of active iPhones had iOS 14 installed, indicating that people are very excited about upgrading to this new version of the software.
