Windows Phone sales in Q4 2012 have far exceeded the same period last year

Windows Phone sales in the fourth quarter of this year have far exceeded the same period last year, a very significant increase. Taking the number of monthly active users on Facebook as a reference, we can see that there has been an increase of approximately 627,000 media connectors since October 1, 2012.

Last year, as of December 15, the number was 150,000. Steve Ballmer also stated: "The current sales of Windows Phone phones have quadrupled the same period last year."

According to Gartner, which reported last year on end-user purchases rather than shipments, 2,759,000 Windows Phones were sold in the fourth quarter of 2011. These figures suggest that 7 million Windows Phones have been sold so far this quarter, with a total of 10 million units expected to be sold this quarter.

The figures from Facebook are very real, which shows that the demand for Windows Phones is currently in short supply. Due to this short supply, sales will naturally increase significantly. We believe that with the launch of multiple WP8 phones, the sales of Windows Phones will only increase in the future, and the rise of Windows Phones is just around the corner!
