How to travel safely and spend the first holiday of the New Year in good health?

China Weather Network released a weather travel guide for the New Year's Day holiday. Most parts of my country have less rain and snow, the north is cold, and the south is warming. Overall, it is suitable for travel. However, there may be rain and snow in the southwest and other places, so be careful of slippery roads.

Hu Xiao, chief meteorological analyst at China Weather Network, said that during the New Year's Day holiday, most parts of the country will be sunny to cloudy, with no large-scale strong winds, cooling, rain or snow, so travel is worry-free. However, there will be rain and snow in some parts of the southwest, so the public should pay attention to slippery roads and keep warm when going out.

On January 1, snowflakes may fall in Heilongjiang, Jilin, central and eastern Liaoning, and northeastern Inner Mongolia, and the weather will be cold. You need to be alert to snowfall when traveling, and take precautions against slipping and cold. The temperature in most parts of the Northwest region will be below freezing all day, with the lowest temperature below -10℃, so it is freezing cold and you need to wear thick clothes when traveling. There will be strong winds in Hebei, Shanxi, Shandong and other places, and the wind chill effect will be obvious, so you need to protect yourself from the wind when traveling. The weather in Guizhou and northeastern Yunnan will be clear during the day, but it will be cold in the mornings and evenings, so you need to protect yourself from the cold. Most of Guangdong, southern Fujian, western Taiwan and other places will be warm and comfortable, so you can travel without worries.

On January 2, it will still be cold in the north. The snowfall in the northeast will end and the weather will turn cloudy or sunny. The lowest temperature in many places will drop to around -20℃. Be careful about snow accumulation when traveling and keep warm. Most of the northwest region is still freezing cold and you need to wear thick clothes when traveling. Under the influence of weak cold air, the temperature in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shandong, Shanxi, Henan and other places will drop to the holiday low. The highest temperature in Beijing, Tianjin and Shijiazhuang will be only around 2℃, so warm equipment needs to be upgraded.

The southern region began to warm up on the 2nd. The weather in Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangsu, Guangdong, and most of Guangxi was sunny and the temperature rose, making it suitable for travel; however, precipitation increased in Guizhou, Yunnan, Sichuan and other places, and snowflakes may fall in Tibet, so be careful of slippery roads when traveling.

On January 3, it will be freezing cold in the northwest and northeast, so the ultimate equipment has to be arranged; Shanxi, Hebei, Beijing, Tianjin, Shandong, Henan, Jiangsu, and central and northern Anhui will have the best weather during the New Year's Day, which is conducive to outdoor activities, but the temperature is low, so you should still not be careless about keeping warm; there will be fewer clouds and rising temperatures in the south of the Yangtze River, and most of South China will still be warm and sunny, so there will be no worries when traveling; while eastern Sichuan, Guizhou, Chongqing and other places will still have a lot of rain and snow, so you need to be careful about slippery roads when traveling.
