Watching my father pass away due to a cerebral infarction, the feeling of helplessness I felt will never be forgotten in my life!

Stroke, also known as cerebral infarction

At present, stroke has become the leading cause of death among Chinese people.

However, many people do not understand it

Even because of ignoring the signals sent before the stroke

Missed the best time for treatment

Ruthless brain stroke

It is destroying countless happy Chinese families.

My father, 47, passed away a month ago due to brain stem infarction, and the thrombolysis could not be done. I watched him go away, and I will never forget the feeling of powerlessness that I felt.

I received a call from home at school and was told that my father had a stroke. When I went home to get clothes, I looked at the empty sofa and cried. At that moment, I deeply understood the feeling of home only when there are people around.

The backbone of my family fell, and I had to make all the decisions by myself. I had only graduated for two years, and my father had no medical insurance. All our savings were spent on his medical treatment. For two years, I could not accept the fact that my father had lost his ability to work and his language function. When I woke up, I felt that everything was fake.

After my mother had a stroke, she lost 40 kilograms in 5 months. She used to be cheerful but became quiet. She felt that she was a burden to the whole family and now she even wanted to give up treatment...

I just turned 42 this year and had a cerebral infarction in September. Two months before the diagnosis, I occasionally had symptoms of unclear speech and numbness in my left hands and feet. Unfortunately, I didn’t take it seriously! Oh! I regret it!

Stroke destroys not only a person's health, but also a family's happiness. I hope everyone can take it seriously!

Be careful of these inconspicuous symptoms, which may be the precursors of a stroke. There are some tips to prevent stroke!

How to provide first aid for sudden stroke?

1. Lie flat

Have the patient lie flat on his back with his collar and belt loosened;

2. Head tilt

When the patient is unconscious or nauseous and vomiting, tilt the patient's head to one side to prevent suffocation due to vomit. If the patient has removable dentures, remove them immediately.

3. Side lying

Turn the patient to the lateral position;

Take the right side position as an example. Lift the patient's right arm and place it on the side of the head. Place the patient's left hand on the right shoulder. Bend the left leg. The rescuer places both hands on the patient's left shoulder and left knee. Turn the patient over and keep him warm.

At the same time, pay close attention to changes in the patient's breathing and pulse.

May 25th is World Stroke Day

Be alert and prevent stroke

I hope we always remember

Not just on special days
