For those who like to stay up late, do you have chest or back pain?

01

For those of you who like to stay up late, do you have occasional chest wall pain?

Have you ever found that your chest wall often hurts, sometimes more severe, sometimes less severe; sometimes it hurts more when you stay up late; sometimes it hurts more when you catch a cold; sometimes it hurts so much that you can't eat or sleep well. What causes these symptoms for friends who stay up late? How can we help patients with these symptoms? Let's talk about it today!

The reason why most people experience chest wall pain after staying up late is because they are troubled by a disease called Tieze's disease. Tieze's disease, also known as costochondritis, is one of the common causes of chest pain. Many people will experience worsening symptoms such as chest wall pain when they do not get enough rest, stay up late, or have a weakened immune system. So how should we deal with it? Today, I will give a detailed explanation to those who love to stay up late.

02The main symptom of Tay-Sachs disease is chest wall pain, which worsens after fatigue.

The contemporary life is stressful, and staying up late has become a habit. Young people who have just entered society are under great work pressure and often go to bed after 2 a.m., middle-aged people who have already started a family are worried about the problems of their children and the elderly, and often suffer from insomnia, while retired elderly people need to take care of their grandchildren in their cradles, and they also have poor sleep. Over time, people who stay up late will have their immunity reduced, and their bodies will begin to "strike".

The cause of Taytse's disease is still unclear. It may be related to joint strain, cartilage edema, immune regulation, and endocrine abnormalities that cause malnutrition of the costal cartilage. The initial symptoms of these patients are local pain in the chest wall, swelling and bulging of the lesion, and the pain is aggravated by deep breathing, coughing, chest-lifting and other activities and fatigue. Some patients also feel swelling and discomfort at the junction of the sternum and costal cartilage without knowing it.

03How is Teddy's disease diagnosed? 1. Teddy's disease is generally characterized by mild swelling and bulging of the costal cartilage at the affected area, local tenderness, and generally no changes in the skin;

2. Blood tests showed that anti-O, rheumatoid factor, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, blood phosphorus, blood calcium, etc. were all normal;

3. Electrocardiogram, myocardial enzymes, myocardial infarction triplet, etc. rule out heart disease.

04What diseases should be differentiated from Tayt's disease? 1. Breast disease

For girls, it is necessary to differentiate it from breast diseases. Sometimes the pain caused by Tay-Zee disease radiates to the local area, and some patients mistake it for breast disease. The differentiation method is to perform breast color Doppler ultrasound. If it is a breast disease, there will generally be nodules or tumors.

2. Intercostal neuralgia

Intercostal neuralgia is the second most common disease in the outpatient department of thoracic surgery after costochondritis. Patients often have symptoms of chest pain, but the pain is usually distributed along the intercostal nerves, in the same direction as the ribs, while the pain of Tayt's disease is generally more limited, with obvious local swelling and tenderness.

3. Heart disease

During an acute attack of Tayt's disease, chest pain can be quite severe, and even radiate to the back scapula or the shoulder and arm on the same side, like angina pectoris. Symptoms of angina pectoris patients can be quickly relieved after taking nitroglycerin sublingually. Electrocardiograms and myocardial enzymes can also be used to distinguish.

05Teddy's disease is a self-limiting disease, symptomatic treatment is the keyTeddy's disease is a self-limiting disease, that is, it can slowly get better on its own, and it is generally a sterile inflammation, so no anti-inflammatory treatment is required. If the pain is not severe, pay attention to rest, and local hot towel heat compress can have a pain-relieving effect.

If the patient has severe pain, analgesic treatment can be given; if drug analgesia is ineffective, local blockade treatment or even local costal cartilage resection can be performed.

In addition, not staying up late, not overworking, and not getting cold are the keys to preventing Tay-Sachs disease! Everyone must pay attention to regular work and rest and add clothes in time to prevent Tay-Sachs disease
