How come there is almost no fetal movement at 36 weeks of pregnancy?

How come there is almost no fetal movement at 36 weeks of pregnancy?

I believe everyone knows that after a certain period of pregnancy, fetal movement will occur. Generally speaking, the longer the pregnancy lasts, the more fully the baby will develop, and the frequency and amplitude of the baby's fetal movements will gradually increase. But one thing is very strange, that is, when it comes to 36 weeks of pregnancy, the frequency of fetal movement has decreased. What is the reason for this? How come there is basically no fetal movement at 36 months of pregnancy?

How to have basically no fetal movement at 36 weeks of pregnancy

In the late pregnancy, after the fetal head enters the pelvis, the baby's fetal movement will decrease, which is a normal phenomenon. At 32 weeks of pregnancy, fetal movements are most frequent, and the frequency of fetal movements can reach over a thousand times a day. As the pregnancy progresses, as the fetus grows gradually, the space in the uterus available for the fetus to move will gradually become smaller, so the frequency of fetal movements will also decrease. However, as long as the number of fetal movements in the late pregnancy is more than a dozen times, there is no need to worry about other problems.

How to count fetal movements in late pregnancy

1. Count the fetal movements three times a day, and spend one hour each time. Choose a fixed time in the morning, afternoon, and evening to count. Sit up, raise the cushion, or lie down on your left side and put the door handle on your abdomen. Continue for an hour.

2. Count the frequency of fetal movement once a day, with each count lasting one hour. Choose the period when the baby's fetal movements are most active, and try to count the fetal movements at the same time every day. Sit up with the cushion raised, or lie down on your left side with the door handle on your abdomen and feel the baby's movements. Prepare some paper and make a mark every time you feel the baby move. Maybe five or six times in an hour, or a lot more.

How come there is basically no fetal movement at 36 weeks of pregnancy? In the late stages of pregnancy, the fetus's development is basically complete, and the space in the uterus for the fetus to move is significantly reduced, so the fetal movement will gradually decrease. But in the later stages of pregnancy, pregnant women must pay attention to changes in their body, especially when they feel unwell, they must be more careful to avoid unexpected situations. In addition, pregnant women should also control their diet and do moderate exercise, which will help them to give birth.
