Minimally invasive DNA has very high requirements for hospital equipment and testing personnel, and non-invasive DNA testing is usually only performed in hospitals. Compared with amniocentesis, minimally invasive DNA testing is more expensive, but it is more accurate and tests more chromosomes.

When pregnant women choose a testing method, they should first consider the accuracy of the test, and then consider various factors such as price. Whether it is amniocentesis or minimally invasive DNA, pregnant women should choose the best one according to their own conditions. In addition, you must make adequate preparations before the examination and choose a reliable hospital for examination. If you choose a small hospital for the sake of cost-effectiveness, it may affect the fetus.

Of course, we all hope that our baby is healthy, so we must do a good job of examination during pregnancy. If the fetus is indeed a high-risk patient for Down syndrome, then we need to decide whether to continue to get pregnant based on our own and our doctor's comprehensive advice. Babies with Down syndrome will show intellectual disabilities after birth, which many parents are unwilling to accept.
