Early pictures of female scabies infection

"Scabies" is a contact infectious skin disease caused by scabies mites. It is easily spread at home and in groups. Many friends are familiar with it, because the appearance of scabies affects our normal daily life. Scabies is a skin disease, and it is also contagious. Generally, in the early stage, many patients do not pay attention to it, and it will gradually worsen, and finally cause unbearable itching. Women should pay more attention to scabies infection in the early stage.

So, what are the more obvious characteristics of scabies?

After being infected with scabies, the first symptom is itchy skin, and small rashes, blisters or scars may also appear at the itchy area. The itching is very severe, usually lighter during the day and worse at night. The patient is often covered with scratches and even blood due to scratching, and it is difficult for the patient to fall asleep. After the scabies mites penetrate the skin, it usually takes a dangerous period of 20-30 days before the rash and itching symptoms appear.

The initial rash is common in moist and soft areas of the skin, such as the skin between the fingers and wrists, which is easy to penetrate into the body and then spread to other parts of the body, such as the elbows, waist, armpits, abdomen and private parts. Over time, light brown nodular damage may occur. In the early days of liberation, there was a widely circulated folk custom that said, "Scabies is like a dragon, which first moves in the hand, circles around the waist three times, and sets up camp on the legs."

Scabies should be distinguished from the following conditions:

Pruritus: It is more common on the extensor side of the limbs, is chronic, begins in childhood, worsens in autumn and winter, and is often complicated by inguinal lymphadenopathy.

Impetigo: It is more common in children and adolescents, mostly on exposed parts of the body such as the head and face. It starts as small pustules in the middle, which will form yellowish pus scabs after breaking. It is common in summer and autumn.

Papular urticaria: Most of them are scattered small rashes, papulovesicles or solid blisters. Small wheals will appear after scratching, and small rashes will remain after the wheals disappear. Patients often have allergic constitutions, often accompanied by gastrointestinal obstruction and swollen tonsils, which are easily caused by insect bites.

Pruritus: It occurs in no fixed place and rarely occurs between fingers. The main symptom of the patient is itchy skin, and the skin lesions are mostly secondary scratches. The onset of the disease is often related to mood swings, visceral diseases or menopause in women.

Pediculosis: The skin lesions are mainly secondary scratches, which are more common in the armpits, flanks, buttocks, private parts, and in contact with the skin at the seams of clothes. Lice and lice eggs can be found.
