Breast pain, what's going on?

The breast is the most important organ in women's body, and currently many women suffer from bleeding and slight pain in the breast. When we are about to have our period or after pregnancy, our breasts will undergo some slight changes due to changes in hormones. Most of them are physiological phenomena, so there is no need to worry. Next, let’s look at why the lower breast may be a little painful.

1. Insufficient breast development, resulting in lumps

Many women experience breast pain, which is related to their hormones. Insufficient breast development, medically known as atrophy, often causes mastalgia. The process of female hormone changes caused by menarche is like the ebb and flow of the tide. After the tide recedes, there are still sands left. These "sands" that are not left behind with the ebb of the tide are like the squamous epithelial cells that continue to fall off and regenerate in the breast. They remain in the mammary ducts and cause incomplete atrophy.

2. Third degree pain requires early diagnosis

The doctor said that breast pain is divided into three degrees. The first degree is pain felt when touching hard, the second degree is pain felt when moving, and the third degree is pain felt when still or even in bed. First-degree pain does not need to be treated, second-degree pain can be considered and treated with medication, and third-degree pain is also called moderate to severe pain, so you can go to the doctor.

3. Breast hardness or softness has nothing to do with symptoms

In addition to breast pain, the firmness of the breasts can also be classified into grades: one degree is as soft as the mouth, two degrees is moderately hard and soft like the nose, and three degrees is as hard as the forehead. But whether it is soft or hard, it has no practical significance in warning of the disease. If you feel a "lump" in your breast and it is symmetrical on both sides, you can consider it a normal hyperplasia. If the "lump" changes before and after your menstrual period, you don't need to worry about cancer.

The above is the relevant content about what causes slight pain in the breast. In short, for the problem of breast pain in women, experts recommend that women over 35 years old should undergo regular breast examinations; for women under 35 years old, if the breast pain is severe enough to affect their daily life, and if they feel a "lump" when touching it, then they should go to the hospital for treatment.
