I'm only one month pregnant and I have back pain

Knowing the answer to the question of back pain after only one month of pregnancy can help women better understand the various reactions during pregnancy, and thus maintain a relatively stable mental state for the next nine months. This can not only help the healthy growth of the child, but also to a certain extent reduce the pain of delivery during childbirth and speed up postpartum recovery. It is normal to have back pain in early pregnancy and it belongs to the normal range. This is because, in the early stages of pregnancy, the joint ligaments relax due to the influence of growth hormone, the uterus enlarges, and the pelvic tissue and nerves are compressed. As the abdomen expands, the center of gravity of the body moves backwards, and the pregnant woman's waist protrudes forward in order to adapt to the balance of the body posture, resulting in back pain.

What to do if you have backache during pregnancy

1. During pregnancy, due to changes in male hormones, the pressure on the abdomen and back increases, so there will always be back pain. With the increase of gestational age, the chance of back pain will increase and the degree will become more serious. Overwork, bending down too much, lifting suspended objects, standing for long periods of time, walking too much or having incorrect posture can all cause back pain. Usually no major medical treatment is required.

2. For the symptoms of low back pain in early pregnancy, proper rest, local hot compresses and massage can effectively improve the condition and there is no need to seek medical attention. However, if there is severe muscle stiffness or soreness, please seek medical attention immediately.

3. If you want to improve the symptoms of back pain in early pregnancy, you should get enough rest, do prenatal exercises, and wear low-heeled shoes.

It is true that back pain will occur within a month of pregnancy. Some people have severe pain, while others have mild pain. If it does not affect your daily life, you don’t need to worry too much. If it is serious, you can consult a doctor.

Common problems in early pregnancy include

Early pregnancy test. During the diagnosis of pregnancy, pregnant mothers need to go to the street community hospital outpatient clinic for the first pregnancy check-up at 12 weeks of pregnancy, and create a liaison health care guide for pregnant women. Subsequent pregnancy checkups can be carried out in a secondary hospital or the hospital where the pregnant woman is scheduled to give birth.

Prenatal check-up. Prenatal testing can rule out some key abnormalities and can be done as early as 8 weeks of pregnancy. At present, the most common method of checking chromosomes is regular peripheral blood screening. If necessary, amniocentesis can be performed at 16-20 weeks of pregnancy for further diagnosis.

Get some rest. In the early stages of pregnancy, pregnant women are prone to fatigue and therefore need adequate rest. Excessive fatigue can easily lead to miscarriage in pregnant women, especially those older mothers, those with a history of miscarriage, and those suffering from some chronic diseases, who need to pay special attention to rest. In the early stages of pregnancy, you should avoid excessive fatigue, excessive exercise and emotional excitement, and try to maintain a stable mental state.

In the third month of pregnancy, because the test tube embryo is in the process of development, especially the connection between the embryo and the pregnant mother's endometrium is not yet inseparable, it is very likely that the uterus will be vibrated due to poor posture, causing the embryo to fall out and lead to miscarriage. Pregnant mothers should try to choose slower exercises, and never do exercises such as jumping, twisting or rapid rotation.

Many pregnant women are advised to do walking exercises. Ensuring 15-20 minutes of walking time every day is beneficial for both mother and baby. It is best to take a walk in an environment with fresh air, and the walking time should not be too long or too fast. At the beginning, you can slow down the pace, take a walk after running in the morning and after dinner, and add some uphill exercises appropriately. The time and distance of strolling should be adjusted according to your own feeling, so that you don't feel tired without realizing it. Don't walk too fast when strolling, walk slowly to avoid excessive vibration to the human body or fatigue. When taking a stroll in the early stages of pregnancy, you should walk and do some warm-up exercises for the first 5 minutes. In the last 5 minutes, walk slower to allow the body to gradually relax.
