Women must read at night during menstruation

When the uterine wall falls off and bleeds out of the vagina, it is called menstruation. Generally, menstruation occurs every 28-30 days, with excessive blood loss of around 50 ml, which lasts for 3 to 7 days. Regular menstruation is a necessary condition for pregnancy, indicates that the urinary system functions normally, and is an important indicator of women's health. What are the must-reads for women during their menstrual period?

Regular menstruation is an important indicator of women's health. But in addition to normal menstruation, there are also some special menstrual periods.

1. Six abnormal menstrual periods in a woman’s life:

1. First menstruation

Girls experience their first menstruation when they are around thirteen or fourteen years old. The first time you have your period is called "first menstruation" in medicine. "First menstruation" is a key sign of the onset of female puberty. For some beautiful girls, their menstrual cycle may not be regular for a period of time after their first menstruation. The main reason is that the physiological cycle adjustment function is not stable enough, and it is easily affected by internal and external factors, such as physical fitness, mentality and environmental changes. It is necessary to pay attention to psychological guidance and child care.

2. Stimulate menstruation

After pregnancy, the uterus and ovaries stop ovulating, and it is not easy to have menstruation again. However, some women still have a small amount of vaginal bleeding similar to menstruation in the early stages of pregnancy, which is called "irregular menstruation". In the early stages of pregnancy, the body's estrogen level is low, the production of the uterine decidua is not yet complete, and bleeding may occur, which is even mistakenly thought to be "menstruation." This condition is unlikely to last more than four months of pregnancy and has no adverse effects on the mother and fetus.

3. Amenorrhea

Those who are 18 years old and have not had their periods are called primary amenorrhea; those who have had their periods but then stopped for more than 3 months, excluding pregnancy, breastfeeding and menopause, are called secondary amenorrhea. Systemic diseases, changes in the natural environment, and mental stimulation can all affect the ovaries and cause amenorrhea. Some male reproductive organ diseases or abnormal growth and development can also cause amenorrhea. Amenorrhea should be checked as soon as possible, the cause should be identified, and treatment should be given in time. Delaying time will affect the treatment effect and may affect pregnancy.

The first thing to do for amenorrhea in adolescence is to pay attention to hygiene during menstruation, keep warm, arrange study and life scientifically, eliminate stressful factors, improve health, especially stop inappropriate weight loss. Treatment measures such as clearing the meridians, adjusting the endocrine system, and promoting ovulation can be used. If it doesn't work, therapeutic drugs can be used to restore the artificial cycle.

4. Reverse the sutra

Some women experience hemoptysis, nasal bleeding, ear bleeding, conjunctival bleeding, or bloody stools at the beginning of their menstruation. This is called "compensatory menstruation" in medicine, also known as "retrograde menstruation". The reasons are not all the same. Such as nose bleeding, it is because the capillary network in the lower part of the nose columella is very rich, superficial and sensitive, and it is easy to bleed. The nasal mucosa of some people is very sensitive to changes in ovarian estrogen levels. It is stimulated and causes hematoma, swelling, and even bleeding like the uterine wall when the estrogen level drops sharply.

Some "reverse menstruation" is caused by trauma, or during curettage, cesarean section, hysterectomy, the uterine wall moves to the lungs, pleural thickening, digestive system and subcutaneous tissue outside the uterus, and is regulated by estrogen like the original uterine wall, causing hyperplasia and shedding, which is medically called "uterine wall movement syndrome."
