What causes vaginal yeast infection?

In our daily life, there are many women who have vaginal bacterial infections. We can understand some of the causes of vaginal bacterial infections and then deal with the problem of vulvar itching in women. If we have vaginal bacterial infection, there will be some uncomfortable symptoms, which will affect the patient's normal work. Then many people will be very curious, what exactly causes vaginal bacterial infection?

In fact, vaginal bacterial infection, also known as Trichomonas infection, is a vaginal inflammation caused by Candida albicans. Candida albicans is a bacterium that mostly grows in the form of thin-walled spores without the conditions of growth and reproduction, and has no pathogenic function. If our resistance is reduced or there are some changes in the vagina, Trichomonas will have a lot of reproductive conditions, so the bacteria is a conditional pathogen.

Vaginal bacterial infections in women may be caused by the widespread use of antibiotics, which has led to a continued increase in Trichomonas infections and vaginal itching. The normal vaginal environment needs to rely on the normal beneficial bacteria in the vagina, with Lactobacillus as the main component, to maintain balance. Frequent or long-term use of antibiotics will destroy the diversity of normal vaginal organisms, leading to intestinal flora imbalance in women, causing Trichomonas infection and ultimately causing symptoms.

Changes in growth hormone within the reproductive system can also cause bacterial infections in women. The female hormones and estrogens secreted by the uterus and ovaries can affect the pH value in the vagina, which will affect the budding of Trichomonas, trypsin, bacterial transformation and ultimately the onset of the disease. For example, during pregnancy, under the influence of a large amount of estrogen, the sugar content of the vaginal epithelial cells is high and the secretions are abundant, which is conducive to the growth and reproduction of bacteria. Therefore, the prevalence of vaginal itching caused by Candida albicans is relatively high in pregnant women.

That’s all we have to say about how vaginal bacterial infection is caused. If we find that we have vaginal bacterial infection, we should seek medical treatment immediately so that the problem of vaginal bacterial infection can be controlled as soon as possible. At the same time, you should also pay attention to daily hygiene, so as to prevent women's vaginal bacterial infection from getting worse.
