Vaginitis and chronic cervicitis

Vaginitis and chronic cervicitis

When it comes to vaginitis, women will think of the feeling of vulvar itching. Suffering from this kind of gynecological inflammation will also cause foul-smelling female secretions, which makes female friends feel very distressed and seriously affects women's daily life and work. Female friends do not want to be infected with vaginitis, so we must take the initiative to prevent it. So, what are vaginitis and chronic cervicitis? Are they serious?

Vaginitis is an inflammation of the vaginal mucosa and submucosal connective tissue and is a common disease in outpatient gynecology. The main clinical characteristics of vaginitis are changes in the characteristics of secretions and itching and burning pain in the private parts. Pain during sexual intercourse is also common. When the infection invades the urethra, there may be symptoms such as painful urination and inability to hold urine. Common vaginitis includes bacterial vaginitis, candidal vaginitis, fungal vaginitis, and senile vaginitis.

Chronic cervicitis is more common in the transition from acute cervicitis, which is mostly caused by the invasion of pathogens (mainly Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa) after childbirth, miscarriage or surgical injury to the cervix. There are usually no clinical manifestations of the acute process. The cervical endometrium has many wrinkles, pathogens lurk here, and the infection is not easy to completely eliminate, so introverted cervicitis usually occurs. Clinical symptoms include increased secretions, bloody leucorrhea or irregular bleeding in women.

There are many types of vaginitis, and different types of vaginitis manifest different symptoms. When treating the patient, the patient must first find out the type of pathogen that infects him, and then treat it purposefully.

How to prevent the onset of vaginitis

Method 1: Active contraception: To prevent gynecological inflammation in women, contraception work should not be neglected. Doing a good job in contraceptive measures and reducing the chance of human damage to the cervix can reduce the chance of infection by pathogenic microorganisms and the probability of various complications, thereby significantly reducing the chance of recurrence of gynecological inflammation in women.

Method 2: Avoid excessive cleaning: Women should not often use private cleaning disinfectants to clean their private parts, so as to avoid causing the natural environment of the female private parts to be acidic, thereby causing fungi to take the opportunity to grow in large quantities, which will greatly increase the chance of gynecological inflammation in women. Therefore, ladies do not need to use disinfectant to clean their private parts every day to avoid repeated damage by gynecological inflammation.

Method three: Use antibiotics with caution: If you have fever, chills, cough, headache, etc., you don’t have to use antibiotics immediately. You should actively go to the hospital for outpatient treatment, find out the cause of the disease, and treat it symptomatically to avoid excessive use of antibiotics. Because antibiotics will seriously inhibit the growth of some beneficial bacteria in the intestinal tract of women's body.

Method 4: Wear pure cotton underwear: Pure cotton underwear is conducive to the breathability of the vulva. Good ventilation of the vulva will not cause the temperature of the vulva to rise, so that the vulva will not become damp and cold, thus reducing the chance of recurrence of gynecological inflammation. Women's physical and mental health can be guaranteed.

Method 5: Clean underwear separately: Cleaning underwear separately can reduce the chance of cross infection, which can reduce the chance of recurrence of gynecological inflammation in women. After washing your underwear, dry it in a place where the sun can reach it, as the sun can effectively sterilize it.
