For those who have not given birth by the due date or have exceeded the due date for 2 weeks, another B-ultrasound examination is required. The main purpose is to understand the maturity of the placenta, the flow and properties of the amniotic fluid, and indirectly understand the embryo function, so as to decide whether to become pregnant again and decide on the delivery method. In addition, other tests need to be carried out according to the situation, such as Down syndrome screening at 16-18 weeks.
