Can I still keep the baby if I have low progesterone and bleeding?

We all know that we are happy and anxious during pregnancy. The happiness is the birth of a new life, and the anxiety is the fear of problems with the baby. I am the same. Some people may experience dark brown bleeding in the early stages of pregnancy and have low progesterone levels. This happened to me when I was pregnant with our baby. Brown spots appeared soon after I found out I was pregnant. I didn't pay much attention to it at the time and my abdomen didn't hurt.

I do housework all day long, thinking that pregnancy is not that delicate and I can do it anytime. I told my best friend who just gave birth to a baby about this situation. She asked me to go to the hospital for a check-up as soon as possible and not to neglect it. After my best friend said that, I went to see the doctor because I felt the bleeding was not good for several days. I told the doctor about the situation and asked him to do a blood test. After the test, it said that the progesterone level was low during pregnancy, and I needed a corpus luteum copper needle injection to see if the progesterone level could go up. I was also told to be more careful when I get home and to avoid activities as much as possible.

I listened to the doctor and took the injection almost 2 weeks ago. I went for a follow-up visit and the doctor saw that there was no more bleeding, but the progesterone level still hadn't risen, so he said that I might not be able to have the baby. But the doctor also said that it would be okay if the progesterone level was low after the first three months of pregnancy, so he prescribed some medicine for me and gave me the injection.

I stopped taking medicine and started taking dietotherapy in the hope that the progesterone level would go up as soon as possible. When I went for a follow-up visit, the progesterone level still hadn't gone up much, but it had been going up for three months. The doctor said that at this point, if it didn't go up, there was no need for medication or injections, and the baby was already stable.

Low progesterone in early pregnancy is not terrible. You should go to the hospital for a physical examination immediately and cooperate with the doctor. If you spend the first three months steadily, your baby will not have any problems.

If the progesterone level is low during pregnancy and there is bleeding, the fetus will generally not be conceived and miscarriage is estimated to occur. Low progesterone level during pregnancy itself means that there is a problem with the development of the fetus, so the possibility of miscarriage is high.
