What are the symptoms of gynecological inflammation and what medicine to take

Gynecological inflammation is a common and frequently occurring disease. Chronic cervicitis, vaginitis and chronic pelvic inflammatory disease have the highest morbidity, affecting more than 80% of women in my country. However, only a handful of women know how to carry out proper self-medication. This has led to many misunderstandings about medication and caused many subsequent problems for female patients.

What is gynecological inflammation?

Gynecological inflammation is a common disease among women, mainly refers to inflammation of the female reproductive organs (vulvitis, vaginitis, cervicitis, metritis, pelvic inflammatory disease, adnexitis, genital tract infection, etc.). The female reproductive organs generally produce different acute and inflammatory diseases, which are inflammations caused by various pathogens. If inflammation is not treated promptly, it may cause the inflammation to spread and cross-infect various physiological parts, and will cause many complications, which will have a negative impact on the immune function, metabolism and endocrine system, and even cause malignant diseases in some parts. If it is a pregnant woman, it may cause intrauterine infection, birth canal infection and other effects on the newborn baby, leading to miscarriage, premature birth, congenital maldevelopment, intellectual disability and other serious hazards.

Symptoms of gynecological inflammation

1. Common vulvar inflammation in women

(1) Nonspecific vulvitis. Irritation from physical and chemical factors in daily life, lack of hygiene, and weak constitution can all cause the female vulva to be invaded by bacteria, resulting in vulvitis, such as cervicitis and Trichomonas vaginitis; or wearing polyester underwear with poor breathability causes excessive female secretions, irritating the private parts; soaking the private parts with urine; using unclean sanitary napkins and toilet paper, causing private part infection, etc. These factors are to play a role in the growth and reproduction of bacteria in the vulva, mostly mixed infection of Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, hence the name nonspecific vulvitis.

(2) Fungal vulvitis is vulvitis caused by a type of yeast infection. Often coexists with candidal vaginitis.

(3) Infant vulvitis: After 15 days of birth, various fungi grow in the female vagina. In addition, because the baby's external reproductive organs are immature and have a poor ability to resist bacterial infection, and their private parts are easily soaked in urine and polluted by excrement, and children love to sit anywhere, these are all reasons for infection and can cause infant vulvitis.

(4) Bartholinitis is common in pregnant women. It is caused by the infection of the Bartholin's gland by Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Escherichia coli and other bacteria, which often causes an inflammatory reaction.

(5) Bartholin's gland cysts are usually caused by prolonged inflammation, which leads to blockage of the Bartholin's gland tubes, accumulation of glandular fluid, and cystic dilatation of the glandular ducts; or by the absorption of the pus after the acute Bartholin's gland inflammation disappears. Bartholin's gland cyst and Bartholin's gland cyst can be converted into each other.

(6) During the course of sexually transmitted diseases such as condyloma acuminatum, chancroid, genital herpes, gonorrhea, etc., the private parts will often show inflammation as a main symptom.
