Is it useful to take Jianzhibao for developmental delay?

Children grow very fast if they get adequate nutrition and proper exercise. The baby's development is very fast, but some parents find that their children are much slower in development than children of the same age. At this time, parents will prepare Jianzhibao for their children to use. In fact, if a child is developmentally delayed, parents should first determine whether it is due to physiological or pathological reasons, and then carry out targeted treatment.

Human growth and development refers to the process of maturation from fertilized egg to adult. Growth and development are important characteristics that distinguish children from adults. Growth refers to the growth of various organs and systems in a child's body, and corresponding measurements can be used to represent the changes in their quantity; development refers to the differentiation and functional maturation of cells, tissues, and organs. Growth and development are closely related. Growth is the material basis of development. Changes in the amount of growth can reflect the maturity of the body's organs and systems to a certain extent.

Growth retardation (developmental delay) is a slowdown or abnormal sequence in growth and development. The incidence rate is between 6% and 8%. Children can develop normally under normal internal and external environment. Any factors that are not conducive to children's growth and development can affect their development to varying degrees, thus causing children's growth retardation.

There are many reasons for growth retardation:

1. Normal growth variation

Accounting for 80% to 90%, such as familial short stature, constitutional developmental delay and low birth weight dwarfism, these are related to congenital genetic factors or intrauterine maldevelopment. Their growth rate is basically normal and does not require special treatment.

2. Pathological causes

Such as growth retardation caused by chromosomal abnormalities (Down syndrome, Turner syndrome), metabolic diseases, bone diseases (osteochondrodysplasia), chronic diseases, chronic malnutrition diseases, endocrine diseases (such as growth hormone deficiency, hypothyroidism), etc.
