What is the normal value of glycosylated hemoglobin for pregnant women? Under normal circumstances, the glycosylated hemoglobin of pregnant women is between 4% and 6%. 1. Indicators that reflect the overall blood sugar control of diabetic patients

The normal value of glycosylated hemoglobin is 4%-6%. < 6% is under-controlled and hypoglycemia is likely to occur; 6%-7% is ideal control; 7%-8% is acceptable; 8%-9% is poor control; > 9% is poor control, which is a risk factor for the occurrence and development of chronic complications, and may cause acute complications such as ketoacidosis, so when it is > 8%, blood sugar control should be strengthened.

It is not enough to just measure blood sugar for gestational diabetes. It is more meaningful to control glycosylated hemoglobin to < 8% to avoid macrosomia, stillbirth, malformation, and pre-term pain. Therefore, glucose-containing hemoglobin is an important parameter for the control of gestational diabetes.
