Why can't I feel fetal movement during 7 weeks of pregnancy?

When a woman is 37 weeks pregnant, it means that she has reached the late stage of pregnancy. When a woman has uterine contractions, it means that she is about to give birth. However, uterine contractions can also be false contractions, so it is important to distinguish them. Not to mention that they will cause slight pain in women. When a woman has regular uterine contractions, it is important to pay attention and be prepared. Some women are concerned about fetal movements, so why do they feel uterine contractions but not fetal movements at 37 weeks pregnant?

1. After 37 weeks of pregnancy, frequent uterine contractions indicate that delivery will come on the due date. Only uterine contractions accompanied by pain are a precursor to delivery. Some women feel the pain of the beginning of uterine contractions in the abdomen, while others feel it in the waist. The intensity of contraction pain also varies from person to person. When uterine contractions cause slight pain, it passes after a while, and then gradually the pain becomes stronger, the intervals between them shorten, and the pain duration prolongs. The contractions come like waves, with waves of pain spreading to the lower abdomen, or there may be lower back pain and a feeling of defecation. This type of contraction is in preparation for the birth of the baby. If a pregnant mother with her first child experiences pain more than three times within ten minutes, or if a pregnant mother with her second or subsequent child experiences pain once within ten minutes, she should go to the hospital to assess whether she needs to be hospitalized for delivery.

2. If regular uterine contractions occur near the due date, expectant mothers should not be careless and should closely observe whether there is spotting or water breaking. Some expectant mothers feel the pain of the beginning of uterine contractions in the abdomen, while others feel it in the waist. Expectant mothers should not be nervous and should not be frightened by labor pains. In fact, if the contractions are not strong, you may not feel them or they may be the same as the lower abdominal pain during menstruation. If a pregnant mother is in a tense and busy mental state for a long time, it will cause frequent uterine contractions. At this time, the best way is to put things aside, find a place with good air circulation, take a deep breath, calm your mind, and you can also talk to the fetus in your belly, which is very helpful in easing your emotions.

3. False labor, also called prolonged labor. The intervals between contractions vary, it may be once every ten minutes or once every hour or more, there is no regular pattern, and the duration of each contraction is also different, it may be from a few minutes to more than ten minutes. This phenomenon is more likely to occur when the expectant mother feels tired or excited. Real prenatal contractions are regular, and expectant mothers must carefully identify them. If the above symptoms only occur occasionally, do not last long, and there is no vaginal bleeding, there is no need to worry. If the above phenomena occur frequently with short intervals, and there are obvious abdominal pain, vaginal bleeding, etc., you should go to the hospital in time to avoid accidents.
