The efficacy and function of tinidazole

Women's vaginas are susceptible to infection by various bacteria. Therefore, every woman, regardless of her age, should pay attention to vaginal hygiene management to prevent bacterial infections. Once the vagina is infected with bacteria, it is easy to cause vaginitis. The main symptom of vaginitis is vaginal itching. At this time, timely treatment is needed. The following explains the efficacy and functions of tinidazole.

Tinidazole suppository is a broad-spectrum, fast-acting, highly effective, low-toxic external preparation. The main ingredients, tinidazole, ofloxacin, and ketoconazole, have a synergistic effect in combination. They have a powerful killing effect on various pathogenic factors that cause gynecological inflammation, and play a protective role on beneficial lactobacilli.

Tinidazole suppositories have antiprotozoan and obligate anaerobic bacteria effects. It has inhibitory effects on protozoa such as Trichomonas vaginalis, Entamoeba histolytica and Giardia lamblia, and its active ingredients have antibacterial effects on most anaerobic bacteria and Bacteroides fragilis, Bacteroides melanin, other Bacteroides, Clostridium, Eubacteria, Fusobacterium, Haemophilus vaginalis, Peptococcus, Peptococcus and Streptococcus wiltii.

The results of the toxicity test on metronidazole suppositories showed that when 0.36 g of the main drug/kg body weight was administered vaginally to rabbits, which is 50.4 times the clinical human dose, no animal died within 14 days of observation and their general condition was normal and their body weight increased. This indicates that the compound metronidazole suppository has no toxic effect on rabbits.

Tinidazole suppositories have no toxic effect or irritation on rabbits. It can be seen that metronidazole suppositories have a certain degree of safety in clinical use.
