Symptoms of gynecological chlamydia infection

Symptoms of gynecological chlamydia infection

Generally speaking, women's lower body is relatively fragile and easily infected by various viruses. After being infected by bacteria and viruses, a series of gynecological diseases may occur. Therefore, after a gynecological disease occurs, you should go to the hospital for appropriate examinations in time. The main viruses that cause gynecological infections in women are chlamydia and mycoplasma. So what are the symptoms of gynecological chlamydia infection in women?

When women are infected with chlamydia, the symptoms vary greatly due to the different severity of the infection in different women. Some women may experience frequent urination, urgency, yellow leucorrhea, vaginal itching, stinging, etc. after being infected with chlamydia, while some women may not have any discomfort after being infected with chlamydia, and there are no special abnormalities in the leucorrhea examination, and there is no itching or odor, etc. Another type of women may experience repeated attacks of vaginitis.

Mycoplasma and Chlamydia are pathogenic microorganisms between bacteria and viruses. Chlamydia and Mycoplasma infection often causes acute cervicitis. The main symptoms of infection are increased vaginal discharge, which is mucopurulent. Vaginal discharge irritates the vulva, causing itching and burning sensation. Occasionally, intermenstrual bleeding and bleeding after sexual intercourse may occur. When combined with urinary tract infection, frequent urination, urgency and pain may also occur. Mycoplasma and chlamydia infections require treatment with sensitive drugs based on bacterial culture results, and the condition will gradually improve.

Generally speaking, if a woman is diagnosed with chlamydia infection, for women who do not want to have children, oral azithromycin can be considered for empirical treatment. If the drug sensitivity has been checked, then direct oral antibiotics can be used according to the results of the drug sensitivity test, and symptomatic treatment can be performed. About half a month after the treatment, go to the hospital's gynecology department to check whether the mycoplasma has recovered and turned negative. During the treatment, sexual intercourse is prohibited and a light diet should be followed. It is best for men to be treated at the same time as women to avoid relapse in women.
