Detect follicles a few days after menstruation

Detect follicles a few days after menstruation

In order to increase the chance of conception, many women choose to monitor the ovulation follicles during their pregnancy preparation. Detecting follicles also requires seizing a certain opportunity. Generally speaking, the tenth day after menstruation is more suitable for follicle monitoring. In addition, if you want to know your ovulation period, you can also calculate it through certain methods. Next, I will introduce to you some relevant knowledge about follicles and ovulation period!

1. How many days of menstruation should I use to monitor ovulation

If B-ultrasound is used to detect follicles, generally speaking, the diameter of the follicles on the 5th to 6th day of the menstrual cycle is about 5-7mm, and the diameter of the follicles on the 10th day can reach 10mm, which can be clearly displayed by ultrasound. Therefore, B-ultrasound detection of ovulation can be performed 10 days after menstruation.

If you use ovulation test strips to detect follicles, you should use the ovulation test strips once a day about a week after the end of your period. If you find that the ovulation test strips are getting stronger and stronger, you should increase the frequency of testing, preferably once every 4 hours. If you compare the test strips and find that the ovulation test strip begins to weaken and quickly becomes weaker, it means that ovulation is about to occur and you can plan to have sex. The 24-48 hours after the ovulation test paper turns weak is generally the time range for ovulation.

2. What are the methods for testing ovulation?

1. Inference method:

Usually, women ovulate about 2 weeks (12-16 days) before their next menstrual period. Therefore, you can calculate it yourself based on the rules of your previous menstrual cycles. However, the ovulation period may change due to the influence of environment, disease, mood and medication, so the calculation of ovulation date should be based on actual conditions.

2. Method for calculating the menstrual date:

It is believed that each ovulation should occur about 14 days before menstruation, so the 5 days before ovulation to 5 days after ovulation are called "ovulation day". However, this method is less reliable because most women have irregular periods. In comparison, the first two methods are more reliable, but somewhat troublesome. Here we introduce you to a simple and more reliable calculation method, hoping it will be helpful to you. The calculation formula is:

The first day of ovulation = the number of days in the shortest menstrual cycle minus 18 days.

The last day of ovulation = the number of days in the longest menstrual cycle minus 11 days.

3. Ovulation symptoms

Generally speaking, women will not experience obvious symptoms during the ovulation period, but a few people will experience discomfort during the ovulation period. The main symptoms are decreased appetite, high energy, increased sexual desire, and decreased resistance. During ovulation, women's vaginal mucus will become thinner to allow sperm to pass more easily, thereby increasing the chances of successful conception. At the same time, women's nasal mucus will also decrease, which increases the chances of bacteria invading the human circulatory system. Ovulation bleeding is generally not a large amount and lasts for half a day or several days, and may be accompanied by mild abdominal pain or back pain.
