Symptoms of hyperinsulinemia in women

Hyperinsulinemia is actually a metabolic disease that can affect both men and women. Once hyperinsulinemia occurs, patients should be alert to the occurrence of complications such as coronary heart disease, three highs, and obesity. In fact, the treatment of hyperinsulinemia is very simple. In addition to improving the dietary structure, increasing exercise can also alleviate hyperinsulinemia. So, do you know what symptoms women will experience after suffering from hyperinsulinemia?

Hyperinsulinemia is the common cause of coronary heart disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, type 2 diabetes, obesity, and stroke.

Hyperinsulinemia treatment

[Strengthen physical exercise]: Physical activity can increase tissue sensitivity to insulin, reduce body weight, improve metabolism, reduce insulin resistance, relieve hyperinsulinemia, and reduce cardiovascular complications.

[Improve dietary structure]: Whether in my country or in the West, people's dietary structure is mainly high in calories and fat. If calorie intake exceeds consumption, it will cause fat accumulation in the body and lead to obesity. Therefore, the diet should be diversified to maintain nutritional balance and avoid overnutrition.

If the disease needs to be treated with medication, it must be under the guidance of a doctor. Take medication and monitor at the same time to adjust hormone levels to within the healthy index range.

Insensitivity of peripheral tissues to insulin weakens the effect of insulin in muscle and inhibits lipolysis in adipose tissue. Insulin resistance in adipose tissue leads to increased blood free fatty acid and triglyceride concentrations. High triglycerides and low-density lipoprotein increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. Low-density lipoprotein can penetrate into the lining of coronary arteries and other arteries, forming atherosclerotic plaques that block blood vessels. When diabetic patients have dyslipidemia, they will develop heart and cerebrovascular diseases earlier, especially women.

Women's estrogen can protect the heart and blood vessels, but diabetes eliminates the protective effect of estrogen. Hyperinsulinemia also damages vascular endothelial cells, causes platelet aggregation, and makes the blood easy to coagulate. Insulin can also activate the sympathetic nervous system of patients with insulin resistance, causing vasospasm and increased resistance, leading to the occurrence of essential hypertension. At the same time, the heart will also be affected, causing abnormal ventricular structure, decreased heart function or even failure.
